Takes the guesswork out of assembly
Nice to have a supply of dedicated brake assembly grease on hand. I suspect it’ll be a lifetime supply.

Must have this grease to ensure corrosion doesn’t happen. Great value
Plenty of grease for replacing thousands of brake hoses.

Works but…
It works and is good quality, but even if you had a bike shop and repaired disks brakes for an entire year, I doubt you could use this tub up. What can you do, sram does not make a smaller size?

SRAM disc brake lube
Very small container as most jobs required very little application of lube

Expensive - only a little is needed for hose\lever replacement
Does what it's supposed to do, but I changed the hoses on my Guide R, and the amountof grease needed for the 2 barbs and 2 compression fittings was about the size of a raisin. For a DIY guy this will last for decades (provided the grease doesn't lose its' properties over time).Would be nice if the grease was sold in those little, one-use squeeze tubes such as they have forchain lub.

Good stuff but…
This is good stuff for bicycles but it’s a lot and it’s expensive. If you need this, then you work on your own bike’s brakes.Keep in mind that these DOT bicycle disk brakes operate the same as a car’s disk brake caliper but only way, way bigger. For replacing seals you should use brake fluid (but confirm for your car make and model) never grease. For, squealing (back of pads), lubing pins, mounting bolts, etc, any high temp car brake grease will work so you might as well pick up some good stuff for your car. CRC, permatex, etc. makes smaller quantities in tubes so you’re not wasting money or grease. Your local auto parts store will have what you need. However Amazon has every brand and size and reviews to help you make your selection.Replacing your pads or servicing the calipers is not hard for both a bike and a car. Just do your research, watch the videos, ask questions at you favorite forum and adhere to the proper torque specs of ANY and ALL fasteners you touch. You’ll save a ton of money!

Make Sure the Item Title and Description Matches the Image
I received the SRAM DOT Brake grease which is what the title said, but image shown on this item is the SRAM Butter Suspension grease. I'm sure both products are great but they're use is not interchangeable. So don't risk ordering the wrong one here and look elsewhere where the title and the image match.
