It works , 5lb is way better buy than 1lb
Worked well , solid wax dip took forever melting the wax using the double boiler method , but after it got warmed up, all went good , just an idea for amount needed for solid wax dip . I used a submersible stoneware pot , literally exactly same diameter as my mb-550s and 5lb of wax just barely covered the top of the trap by 1/2 inch , So if your just starting off and wanting a solid dip, don’t think that it’s possible to start with less than 5lb .. may get away with 3lb if u wax with trap in set position and u have 100% exactly right size pot ..

Good stuff, i heat a knife and cut the blocks to fit in the pot.

If pure wax dipping get more than one for large diameter pots.
Works great at a great price. Started with one block but I pure wax dip and ordered two more just for ease of use, and to get wax depth in my pot correct. Highly recommend.
