Well built, looks nice. Just two knobs. I turn the timer knob to whatever time and I am done. The other knob for the temperature I just leave to the temperature I always use. Turns off when the timer knob works its way back to off position like an old egg timer. Could not be simpler. Could not be faster to use that this. Reliable. I no longer live in fear that I will get distracted and forget I have something cooking. (My life is busy). I turn the timer knob to 10 minutes for example and it turns off in 10 minutes. Best burner I have ever had. I love this Brentwood burner. Any other burner I have used always took multiple steps just to turn the darn thing on for 10 minutes and was not as super easy to clean as this one. The whole top surface is just one flat easy to wipe surface. No creases or indents. Best design ever.

I purchased on April 2021 and the glass cracked

I cook a lot for a big family. I always felt the need to have 2 skillets and 3 pots on the stove, but I only have 4 spots. I opted for this to fit that niche.It will not even boil water. It cannot sear. It takes forever to come to temperature. Worst of all, there is a mandatory 1 hour timer you have to turn on before it will turn on; you have to keep resetting it. Very annoying!Not powerful enough, not good enough. You'll be better with a flame burner!

I'm not sure the quality is worth the purchase, the knobs feel very cheap and just plain basic, not very impressed with the burner, have only used it a few times and it's already showing signs of wear. I doubt i would purchase this again without some improvements to the quality

Ever wanted to eat while a loud ticking sound goes off adding undue suspense to your meal? Well GET THIS COOKTOP! Really though, this things timer is quite loud. Its unfortunate that the timer must be enabled to be able to cook. Heats up fine, looks nice, but that timer kills me.
