Great for display!
This product is great and helped me complete a project of mine! I was timid about the low rating, but I was impressed with what I got. The model does have some impurities such as paint or molding that can easily be corrected with an X-acto knife. For this reason, I would not recommend for younger kids as a simple (E-Z) build model. However, the model only took about 10-15 minutes total to safely build. I currently display it as a lamp.

You need the right tools to make this
The most glaring problem of this Saturn-V rocket is the quality of the plastic. There is a significant amount of flash (mold defects) that end up making the fit of the parts extremely difficult. Construction is practically impossible without removing it so make sure you have sandpaper, a file, an x-acto knife, and/or model pliers to deal with the imperfections. After then you can assemble the rocket together. The engine array still doesn't go on very well so I recommend you glue it to the bottom. The rocket does come apart into 3 stages and right where they are supposed to be, there are engines for each of the stages too. However, the top CSM module (which is supposed to be silver-colored but is made white in this model) does not separate. This model is relatively decent-sized, about a foot tall so it can be a nice display model. There are also some imperfections in the paint, but this is only noticeable close-up. Overall, unless you have actual modelling experience from model kits and know how to remove flash, I would not recommend this item.

Looks like it was put together by a 5-year old in the dark
This poor quality of this model is beyond belief. It is basically 7 pieces: the three stages, the engine housing, engines (2 pieces), and a base. The individual stages are preassembled. The pieces that make up the stages are glued together and so badly misaligned that the stages won't fit at all, let alone actually latch. Forget about this as a "playset." Fortunately, I have a pretty unique use for this and it is serviceable for me: I needed a 13 inch static model of a Saturn V for a shelf display as a scale reference for some other models I have and it is the perfect size. I was able to get the pieces to fit with a lot of sanding and trimming and had to glue the stages together.I got what I needed, but I doubt this would be very useful for most people.

I wanted to love this
I love the size, I love the price. But my 10 year old couldn't even put it together himself because the pieces didn't fit together as they should. I had to really shove them together and we even had to modify one of the pieces because it wasn't cut correctly. My son loves the detail and wants to be able to open it up and look at the inner detail, but I don't see this lasting if he does that. The plastic is definitely cheap and it doesn't seem as if this is meant to be played with.

Sat V Rocket
For the price it is an excellent model. One issue that caused much concern putting it together. The last step is to screw on the motors. The screw is small and so is the screwdriver. The screwdriver does not allow sufficient torque to secure the screw to proper depth to attain full assembly. Using a larger screwdriver I was able to apply sufficient torque to complete the assemble. Happily to display the rocket but slightly out of place among my Star Trek ships display.

Not for Demonstrations-Just a Decoration
This was not even close to what I was looking for. I was looking for a Saturn V model I could use in the classroom to demonstrate how the entire docking procedures worked. There's "stages" but they just seperate. There's no LM and the entire model is very flimsy. I guess you get what you pay for! This just not what I was hoping it would be. Pictures and the descriptions were a bit misleading.

A disappointment
This item requires some modeling tools as the stages fit quite poorly. My biggest gripe is that the paint and decaling IS WRONG. As a cost saving measure, the manufacturer has omitted the silver paint on the service module and the extra sets of markings that should run every 90 degrees on the booster and upper stages. This could be partially fixed by some modeling paint if you have the tools/skill, but the decaling would be impossible unless one has the correct size flags and lettering. If this doesn't matter, then this is an OK item.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!!
For $16 you get a cheap plastic model, plain and simple. I bought it because it was cheap, not bad looking and you don't have to paint or glue anything (which I don't have the time to do so). However, I had to shave a little plastic in order for the parts to lock in place. If you want more attention to detail, you should spend more money on a Revell or any other high-end model kit.WARNING:The pin inside the center engine nozzle, which attaches to the base of the display, is crooked. So, the rocket will lean significantly to one side. I didn't want to have "The Leaning Tower of Rocket" as a display. So, I used a piece of hard foam below the other engines to straighten it up.

No recomendable
De muy mala calidad, parece regalo de feria. Esperaba más por el precio y las fotos evidencian más de lo que realidad es. No recomendable. Espero que dure más de un día es muy frágil y se desarma constantemente.

Some parts were broken and not very accurate
The engine on the third stage (S-IVB) was broken off and I had to glue it back. The main engines were also hard to assemble and had to glue it in place since the screw was snapped in half. Also had to make a few adjustments to the plastic to make the stages fit together. The final product is OK for play but not very nice for display.
