Small World Toys Active Edge - 10'' Playground Ball

I ordered this ball for my grandson that is 16 months old. It has a great bounce to it and is easy for him to catch and throw. I imagine this will be around for many years and he'll be able to play kickball and basketball with it. Just be aware that the ball comes deflated and without a needle valve to fill it with air. Luckily, my husband had one and used his air compressor to inflate it. You can also use a bicycle pump with a needle valve or a canister of compressed air that's used to dust off computer keyboards. Remove the thin plastic tube from the side of the canister, moisten one end of the tube, and insert it into the inflator valve on the ball.

Great product and great price

We have been buying the typical, rubberized playground balls for our outside foursquare and octoball (gagaball) games at camp. It didn't take long for these balls to lose their shape and eventually leak. These Edge balls are the same size and have the same texture as the classic playground ball, but are lighter and keep their shape for months. They are more of a plastic or vinyl material.

My two pups LOVED this ball. For about 30 seconds. That's how long it lasted before popping. But what an exciting 30 seconds it was....

Great for working out at home.
