Lafeber's Avi-Era Powdered Bird Vitamin 1.25 oz

I decided to try this vitamin for my two birds, a rescued African Grey that was nearly plucked bald when I got him and an over 30 year old dove, yes, over 30 years old! They are doing good on it and I can see a difference in both of their energy levels and feathers. I am hoping it is helping them in unseen ways. I do feed organic fresh chop and an organic formula pellet. I use his as another path to great health and long lives for them.

I brought home a second conure, and found out she was a female when I saw my male with her. I immediately ordered these vitamins and put them in her water every day just in case she was going to lay. She ended up needing a nesting box and she created not only healthy, but enormous babies. Compared with my male who I had received early and hand fed, their offspring matured and were superp fliers with full feathers in record time. I truly believe these vitamins are to credit.

My bird seems to like this. Should last a while.

I read reviews and decided on this product. It arrived quickly. I was concerned my sweet Cockatoo wouldn’t drink the water I added it to as she is the PICKIEST parrot ever! Since she only eats her pelleted food and refuses fresh fruits or veggies or nuts- I wanted to ensure she’s getting more vitamins and minerals. The color does turn the water yellow. I have always used a green bowl so it doesn’t seem noticeable in my human eyes. She is still using the water because I still find her food in it from where she dips her food in the water.It does take 1 scoop (extremely tiny) per 2 oz of water. It seems like a lot of scooping and slight inconvenience to have to scoop 8 times for a 16 oz water daily. I’ve tried cutting water volume down. My girl finds it easier to drink when water bowl is filledTo top though. It may seems wasteful to some, but my babygirl getting her vitamins and minerals is more important than what is wasting.I do notice a slight vitamin smell. Again, she doesn’t seem to mind.As far as effectiveness and functionality of this product only time will tell and I can update later.

This is the first time I will express what I think about this type of product because all the previous ones were never enough for my pet and she rejected all of them so, it was very challenging making her to take her vitamins.This time with this new product that I tried, my life is better because I don't have to force her to get her food with supplements. She eats on her own and has never rejected anymore. I am at peace that she gets all the vits and nutrients she needs without forcing her.I am so pleased for this product that really worked.

My parrot's vet recommended this to me for my baby's vitamin A deficiency. It's easy to use, she eats her food as normal with the powder mixed in. I've noticed significant progress in her symptoms since she began taking the supplements.

They provide exactly what my bird needs. This is my second bottle. These were prescribed by my vet and are a great source of vitamins.
