Official Nintendo release. It can fit in the palm of your hand. It's nice to go back and play games from my childhood. It's great! You can also subscribe to Nintendo's online platform and get access to the same games. There's also a third-party version that offers over 30 games, so you have options.

Games bring back good memories but this console set is a joke for the price. The controller cord is so short you have to get a neck ache either sitting on the floor or standing up in front of the tv

A modded NES Classic is great, if it is actually modded.Before you buy, make sure you ask the seller if it really is modded. As of 10/18/2018, three sellers (JDPSupply, Bebesafe, and Maverick Electronics) have listed this item under the modded section, but the system is NOT modded. If this was hacked/modded, there should be customization options or other NES games on the system. Ask the seller if it is indeed a hacked/modded system. If it is not, the extra price tag is NOT warranted. Instead, search for Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition. There should be listings that are $20-30 less than the modded system listing.
