Honey-Can-Do 5-Tier White Wire Shelving Unit, 200 lb/Shelf, 36x14x72 in

I have purchased this shelf twice now, once in 2022, when I moved back home. I needed pantry space, and this fit the bill. I always intended the space to empty out for me to put some kitchen electronics that has just not happened. Fast forward to 2025, and we had minor flooding in my living space. This allowed me to remove several years of stuff that was just lying around not being used to make room for more shelving. Unfortunately, the initial shelf I ordered, which was cheaper was delayed by over a week. I was very frustrated and irritated. Because, in the meantime, it meant I had a mess of things that had no place to go and it was so visually overstimulating. I thought that shelf would never make it. And be auto, canceled and refunded. So I ordered this one because it could arrive next day and it did!!!! It did cost me $15 more and after the flooding, every dollar mattered. But at least I knew what to expect, because my initial shelf was still going strong, still looked good, doing its job. This took more time to get out of the box and open up than it really did to assemble. Only one person is needed as long as you're tall enough, you can do this. Simple, straightforward directions, you put the feet on at the bottoms, you put the plastic things on the same spot of the legs and then slide the shelf into place. And you put the plastic things on, and just slide the next shelf into place, and the best part is you can move them if they're too far or too close. This is great for storage when you have some items that are taller and some are shorter. I had mine set up and pretty much covered in no time flat. The feet are great as they screw on so if you have an uneven surface, you can unscrew them a little to make your shelf more stable as level. It doesn't come with any wall mounting to prevent tipping. If you need something like that, you'd probably have to find something heavy duty at a hardware store for that. That's not my concern I don't have children in the home. Overall I highly recommend and if my shelf that's in limbo does not arrive I might be buying a third one of these because I need more upward storage space.

This was the EASIEST shelf system to put together I have ever purchased. The directions were a little odd, very few words and pictures that were no help, but the part labels were clear enough and that was all I needed. I find it amusing that so many others who purchased this say they needed a mallet to put this together. I needed nothing at all, and it's all due to the genius design of the shelf parts. The kit comes with 4 short poles and 4 long ones that attach with a coupler bushing that screws in to one end of both, they just twist together with your hands. The feet also just twist in, so that all that is left is attaching them to the shelves. There's a bag of these shelf support clips - this is what is brilliant. The way the clip together, around the legs of the shelving, if you look very closely at them one end is slightly wider than the other once they are snapped together, and this is by design. You can easily measure the distance on each leg because there are indented markings that you can count, and they're all exactly in the same place. You snap a shelf support clip in to place on the desired spot, making sure that the narrower part of the clip is pointed toward the top. Once all 4 clips are in place for the first shelf (always do the bottom one first!!) then you just slide the shelf down on to the clip, and the shelf is snug! Once I got the first shelf in place at the desired height from the ground that I wanted, I set the frame upright so that the empty poles were pointing up. Then I just snapped 4 more clips on at the spot I wanted my next shelf, slid the shelf down onto to the clip, pushing the shelf holder down over that narrowest part of the clip and once it reached the widest part, it is forced to stop in place. I repeated the next two shelves the same way. These shelves don't bow in the middle like plastic shelving does. I got this to store all my paint supplies, leaving the bottom shelf just high enough to store a set of gallon cans below it. Once I figured out the design of those clips, my job was easy. No place in the instructions is it discussed about the clip design (there are no actual words other than the names of the parts) - so it took me a few minutes to notice how, when the clips are snapped together, one end is slightly wider than the other. The ease and sturdiness of these shelves is fabulous. I am a 59 year old woman and was able to put this kit together in about a half an hour, and part of that time was deciphering the funky instructions! I am impressed. I love these, perfect size and height for what I needed. I purchased the 4-Tier Shelving Unit: 250 lbs per shelf with intentions of storing all my gallons of paint, plus my miter saw which will go on the second shelf from the bottom. Yes, I have my own miter saw.

I purchased two of these shelf units, one to store small framed artwork and various excess art supplies, and the other to organize various household items that need to be kept out of the way, but easy to find when needed. These shelves, along with several plastic storage containers purchased separately, have created a perfect storage solution for me. They were so easy to put together, I think each one took me maybe 15 minutes. No tools required but I did use a rubber mallet to tamp the shelves fully down onto their clips. After settling one shelf onto its clips, I noticed I had the clips in the wrong place on one side. It was no problem to tap the shelf up off the clips with the mallet, move the clips to the right place, then tap the shelf back down. I like that the shelves are lightweight, so if I decide to reconfigure my storage space, it’ll be easy to do. I plan to buy two more of these shelf units; they are a great product and so useful.

This is perfect for what I needed! I moved into a brand new apartment and it did not have any shelving installed over the washer and dryer. Being the first tenant in here, I did not want to install shelving or drill holes into the wall since they would likely charge me upon move out. A lot of other shelving options did not have long enough poles to place the first shelf high enough off the ground (above a washer or dryer). This product allows you to place the shelves any height you'd like by clicking in the plastic pieces and sliding the shelf over them. I am only using three shelves out of five and all are above my washer. That being said, I think the unit would feel more sturdy if the shelves and weight more evenly distributed. The way I have it set up - I only plan to put lighter items on it since it feels a bit wobbly. One other thing that I like about this unit is that the shelves do feel that they could support heavier items than some of the plastic options. I have multiple of the plastic shelving units and over the years the center has started to bow in the middle. This is a great alternative that will likely prevent that. Shipping was quick but the package was a bit damaged and had some holes in it. Luckily none of the parts were lost in transit. The installation was relatively easy - it probably took me ~20 minutes. All that being said - it works perfectly for what I needed and I ordered a second to go over the dryer.

I always buy Honey Can Do products, they are the best solution for sturdy storage. I’ve never been disappointed in how easy they are to put together, and take apart when I want to rearrange the height of the shelves, which I do often. I’m always rearranging things. Not only shelving but every Honey Can Do product I’ve bought was of great quality.

I have several of these 3 tier shelving units. Honey Can Do units are strong and reliable. This particular size even fits inside of closets for clothing, toys, shoes, etc. They are metal. They are very easy to put together and very sturdy. They are also easy to move around your house as needs change. These make your organizing easy peasy.

Ignore the video giving this shelving unit 1 star. The parts that seem not to fit are shipping spacers used to align the shelves (see picture). The parts that grip the pole are not supposed to fit perfectly together. Pressing down on the shelf causes the plastic pieces to compress, resulting in a firm hold. Without space for compression, the shelf would lack support (see picture). I have multiple shelving units like this one in different sizes, and this one is just as good as any of the others. I like the fact that it comes in white and in the 18x24 size. I was impressed with the shipping materials that protected the parts from damage. It's extremely easy to assemble with no tools required. The instructions are easy to follow, if you even need them, because the bags containing the parts are labeled clearly making building it self-explanatory. Each shelf easily holds 90lb of pet food and the 10lb cat that wants to eat it all! The only room for improvement would be for the shelf brackets/pole grippers to come in white. 10/10 highly recommended.

This is an excellent product, and I really like it. I needed a rolling rack/cart to hold my tool boxes. I assembled the shelves to hold my stuff the way I wanted. Then, to make it roll, I removed the sliders that come with the product, and replaced them with 1-inch casters (6mm/0.25inch threaded stems). Works great. (See photo.) 1. It was easy to assemble. No tools required. It takes a little bit of trial-and-error practice using the black (cylindrical) shelf lock clips, but you can deploy then disassemble multiple times without damaging anything. 2. It is strong. 2a. To get the rack to sink onto the lock clips, I (160 lbs) stood on the rack. 2b. My 70lbs of tool boxes sit fine on the shelves. I stood on the shelves with the tools on there (added my weight) and it was fine. 2c. Notice in my assembly, the bars are free at the top (not anchored in a shelf corner), but they are sturdy enough that when I pull on them (to move the rolling cart) they don't bend/flex. 3. It is attractive. The chrome looks great. I am thinking of adding a stainless steel handle to pull/maneuver the cart around my workshop. Great purchase. Would buy it again!

I just love this shelving unit. I also have another Honey-Can-Do Unit with a wooden top shelf and pull handles/cart feature. It's strong and shiny chrome, looking real nice. The one I have, although years old, looks brand new still. I want one more of the same I just received to complete my area. Although it appears to cost a little more than other comparable units, you have to consider the quality of the materials, which are perfect. You get what you pay for. I have to save up for the next one, but it is worth waiting/saving for.

Elegí la estantería cromada con tres anaqueles. Se arma en pocos minutos y posee gran capacidad de almacenamiento. El empaque de cartón venía muy sucio y con la lengüeta semiabierta; lo bueno es que hallé las piezas completas y sin desperfectos de importancia. Exceptuando por estos detalles, el producto cumplió con mis expectativas.
