This wool knitted up lovely into an Aran cabled jumper. Great value for money. Delivered promptly. This is 2nd purchase from this seller, I bought white baby double knit wool and that was good quality too. Definitely order from them again. Prior to the pandemic I always bought my wool in shops but with lockdown this was the easiest way to purchase wool and I would recommend it.

It arrived faster than i can ever imagine given the Corona situation. Thank you to Shaws Direct for that. I've now knitted up a lovely tea-cosy in bubble stitch and it handled very well. Some wools - yarns i should say - get very attached to each other making unpicking, or as in the case of bubble stitch, dropping, very challenging because the wee hairs tangle with each other. Not so with Marriner Aran: easy to drop [deliberately] and easy to pick up; not as inclined to split as some yarns. A pleasure to use. I'm so glad I got my order in before the Corona lockdown. All the best to Shaws and Marriner and hope your businesses survive this challenge. I'll be back for more wool when we've got rid of this beastly virus. And I can heartily recommend the blue Aran; it is lovely.Keep safe all!
