A great example of "you can't judge a book by its cover". Having said that, I still feel that a more formal outer jacket would make this book more appealing. The inside photo's are familiar to those that have other books by Koudelka...so I wouldn't buy this book to ADD to your collection of Koudelka photo's.

Amazing
Amazing book by one of the true masters of photography. A life dedicated entirely to documenting humans and their lives.Images have very good printing quality. Just as having an original copy.Totally reccomended

Most of what you wanted to know about one of the greatest photographers today, and amazing pictures from his whole career!!
His entire career is covered, with lots of interesting side material. For the pictures only I would give it five stars, here is also the background stories. Recommended!!

Great and timely book by the master , would have given it 5 stars if the panoramas didnt run through the gutter. Better repro than more expensive versions.

Koudelka's images can be both raw, and yet at times as artful HCB. He is a photographer deeply committed to his artistic journey.
