Buttons LEDs work!
Well I ordered this pack, then decided on building a wall mount single player arcade so I didn’t use half of the buttons provided as it was a 2 player kit but the quality is great, the buttons have decent recoil and all of the LEDs worked. It was really easy to wire them up because most of the programming is done in Retropie and not off the control board provided

Super easy to use, great value
Works like a champ. I have zero complaints. Wired right up, but I would suggest plugging the controller into a portable charger so you can check the LEDs when you are wiring them. I had a couple errors on my part and needed to go trace back, I used the charger and made sure all my lights lit up and that also means you will wire your buttons correctly.Software immediately recognized the controllers and I was able to setup my buttons with ease.

Works great and some things to know
Bought this set for a full size arcade cabinet I'm building. All of the joysticks and buttons work perfectly with no light or press delay issues. Here are a few things I discovered and wanted to pass along.1. It would be nice if the connectors will a little longer. Fully extended they are 8" but once they are bent to attach to the connection points, you have maybe 6.5" of taunt distance. That means all of your buttons must be with 6" of the controller for that player. That made it difficult to put the 1/2 player start buttons where I really wanted them.2. The +/- was switched (opposite of indicators on button) on one button for the controller connection. No big deal. Switch them and it's fine.3. The +/- was switched (opposite of indicators on button) on one different button for the led light connection. No big deal. Switch them and it's fine.4. The specifications say the joysticks are 8 way and to buy different plates if you want 4/8 way switchable option. However, the plates that came with mine were already 4/8 way switchable. Just take the clear platic plate off the joystick, gently push up on the center and rotate it 45 degrees into a diamond instead of a square. Now it's a 4 way! This was a bonus.5. When measuring your hole distances, don't just make sure they are spaced enough for the button size on top but also for the nut that holds them in place underneath. Those are a little wider than the top button border so if there's not enough space between, you will have difficulty getting that nut on underneath.6. I wish it came with screws to mount the joysticks and control boards. Not that big of a deal but the holes on the control boards are quite small so appropriate screws would have been helpful. I didn't have any with a narrow enough body but big enough head so I ended up just using velcro on the bottom.Hope this helps someone!EDIT: After being in use for 2 weeks, the light goes off on one of the buttons when pressed. Must be a short inside the button that makes contact when pressed. That's enough, in addition to the other minor items, for me to take away a star now.

Buttons+encoders good, sticks abysmal
The buttons are great! They have a tactile click which is nice. The LED's all worked in my kit, and the encoders are doing the job seamlessly. However, both of the sticks in this kit are horrible. They will not properly hit diagonals whether you leave the 4 way gates or install 8 way gates. They also have 2lb springs in them which, while spring weight is a preference, is very flimsy and cheap-feeling. The fact that both sticks won't hit diagonals consistently or properly (tested in Windows calibration), is wild. Not going to bother trying to get a refund since I'd have to take my entire deck apart to box it all back up. Just going to order some Sanwa sticks or change the connectors on the Arcade1Up sticks to plug into the encoders.

Nice upgrade for arcade 1 up mod
Looks great in the arcade 1 up and love the LED look. Buttons and joysticks are an upgrade from the stock for sure and work about 8/10 for fighting games in my opinion. One button is a little laggy but for a complete kit for $40 I can’t complain too much as it’s better then the stock buttons and sticks. Used extras on golden tee with a 5w adapter for a simple mod

Awesome arcade starter pack
Built an emu station and these were just what the doctor ordered. They work great, amazingly easy to install and at a good price of 43 bucks you can't beat it.
