Not fit for purpose
Bought in may 2020. Wooden lid ( intended as bread board) has warped,making it unfit for purpose. It has never been washed only dry wiped.

Die Dose ist recht groß, sodass viel reingeht, ein ganzer Laib Brot geht nicht ginein.Allerdings ist bei meinem Exemplar der Deckel etwas verzogen, sodass er nicht ganz schließt.

Awesome bread bin!
I started baking artisan bread after attending some baking classes. I am a big fan of various types of bread and was looking for a modern and simple look of bread bin/box.I hate to have a huge and gigantic bread box on my kitchen counter. I do not want to have a shinny metallic one. After searching endless bread bins and prx level - this is a very affordable one that I love.It arrived in 2 days and when I opened it - I was overwhelmed by its simplicity. I placed my bread in the bin and they remain moist and not dry out. It does not give any plastic smell or any other odor.I also oiled the cover with some canola oil and the chopping wood shines! Yes - I love this bin and it is so affordable. No regret to have this one - I just L-U-V this little box.
