A great first book!I have enjoyed following Ms. Gracen's acting career since I first saw her in Highlander the Series. When I found out that she had written a young adult novel I just had to try it, and I was not disappointed. A fantastic and enchanting fantasy novel with fairies, music, adventure, love and characters that you grow attached to. You will not be disappointed. I hope to read more books by Ms. Gracen in the future!

Shalilly is an exciting story that follows the journey of Fippa. She is the solitary on a quest to fulfill her destiny as Love's savior by defeating the darkness. The story follows Fippa as she overcomes the forces working to stop her. This book is a great example of adventure fantasy, Shalilly is one of those books that is impossible to put down once you start reading. You want to turn to the next page just to see what happens next. The rich, multilayered story hooks you in the first paragraph, and the characters feel so full and engaging that you can't help to relate to them as you share in their experiences. This book will definitely appeal to readers of different ages; I let my teenage niece sample the first two chapters and she loved it! Elizabeth Gracen has created a beautiful whimsical and enchanting world with this story.

Elizabeth Gracen takes us on a fantasy journey following Shalilly as she tries to save love! The story is colorful and takes you on a wild ride beginning with the portal. Hang on and enjoy the ride through characters that are rich with depth... with laughter and fear as well. The images are fascinating and I can see a whole line of dolls with this. What's really interesting is that the fantasy has so much underlining reality to it. Enjoy!

Shalilly is a wonderful fantasy book that can be enjoyed by both young adults and up. Elizabeth Gracen's talent for creating word pictures draws the reader into her story of a young Oracle from Greece. The story draws you in and you find yourself rooting for the heroine. It is filled with warm characters that will leave a lasting impression. After my first reading I have been sharing the story with my young niece for her summer reading project. So far...she is still entranced with the action.

This is a lovely coming of age fantasy, suitable for youngish teens and up. Adults will find a lot to like here too. Recommended!

This was a pretty fun book. The teen girl learning love genre isn't exactly in my wheelhouse, but a good yarn is a good yarn. And I liked the layered approach to telling it.

While this may be intended as a book for Young Adults, it is an enchanting read for any age. Well written, wonderfully paced and beautifully illustrated. The only downside is you will finish it way to fast, but then you can just read it again. The type of story may not be new, but Ms. Gracen's telling of it is what sets this book apart.

I am still reading, but very much enjoying the story so far. A great job, Elizabeth Gracen!
