We have a small motorcycle repair shop and we carry drum oils. After messing around with some different (useless and/or hokey) pumps we ran across this beauty! Oh my how it changed our lives! It is simple, easy and works as it should! It works the same every time without fail. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pump. Quit wasting your time trying to prime a crappy pump and get this one. You won't be disappointed!

Bought this as I’m a smaller shop and use oil in 55 gallon drums and the hand pumps were killing me. This one gets prime fairly quickly and the crank handle is easier to use than the pump handles. Worth the cost for sure.

A little different pumping mechanism, rotary one direction a few strokes, then back the other direction. I've used many rotary pumps that you turn the pump one direction, but this one pumps faster than any I have ever used with much less effort. I use mine to pump AW 46 hydraulic oil.

Very Simple to assemble and install. Pump works fine. If the handle doesn't break (reported as a problem by another reviewer) I will be satisfied as this product fit my needs and was reasonably priced.

Very sturdy pump didn’t realize you got to go backwards with a crank as much as you go forward

I have a auto repair business and I bought 1 to try. I didn’t seem to have any problems with ended up buying quite a few. The setup is simple and it does what it does pump oil out from the drum. I’ve used it for nearly 5 years I haven’t had any problems.

The outlet doesn't meet the drain back tube so with the one I got there is a half inch gap and it will drip down the side of the drain back tube. If the tube met the drain tube at the bevel it would drip in the drain and you would likely prevent most dust and bugs from entering. The pipe could be bent to meet but I am afraid I would break the cast aluminium when I try to unscrew the pipe to bend it or bend it still attached. The cast treads are also very rough and it is very easy to cross tread compared to a cast iron pump.
