I love the bag but I wish I had chosen a different color. The grey is very purplish and I don't love the way it goes with the tan which has a lot of yellow.

The purse is narrow, and it is taller than an average purse. It does have pockets, zippers and side pockets. it can hold a small laptop, your kindle device, books, magazines or just your every day items that you have in your purse. It’s a little bit of a stiff material but I’m sure you’ll get lots of use out of it as I do!

Love the bag. It’s sturdy and will last a long time. The waxed canvas is stiff, but that’s what makes it durable. The shoulder strap fits snug around my shoulder like a handbag. And the POCKETS!! Inside there’s a place for a phone, sunglasses in a case, and two zipper pouches in the lining that create an easy-access pocket. Not to mention the front flap pocket and back zip. My only complaint is the color. I ordered a grey bag, but it’s more purple. So, if the color is important, keep in mind there may be some variation. Also, I’d love a key strap inside the bag.

This was exactly what I wanted and I am really happy with the layout of the internal pockets -- a place for my phone!!! I have not given 5 starts on the durability as that is yet to be seen nor the light weight because it is heavier an equivalent bag in leather, but that is to be expected with the waxed canvas. I intend to use this when I travel as there seems to be room/pockets for everything including a passport and notebook! I may purchased the black with brown accents and may buy a lighter one for travel to the Med next summer. I love the durability of the heavy zippered top!

Pretty satisfied with this bag -- I would improve it by making the interior zip and outside zip pockets larger.

Love the look, handles are a perfect length for over shoulder use, small outside zipped pocket is very useful and big enough to take to work with packed lunch, water bottle, etc

I bought this bag because my old purse was falling apart. I like to buy purses/bags that will last, so I was searching for something sturdy but a reasonable price. I have chronic health issues, so I also needed something that was large enough to carry meds, a notepad, my phone, wallet, and bottle water. I came across waxed canvas bags on Etsy and loved the style, but they were a outside my budget. My Amazon search for waxed canvas bags brought me to this wonderful purse.I bought this bag at the end of January. I’ve used it daily for everyday trips, ER visits, doctors appts, beach trips, and trips to my fiancé’s house, and it seems to be holding up really well two months in. I love all of the interior pockets and that it has a zip-top closure. It also doesn’t fall off of my shoulder as other purses have. I don’t think the phone pocket is large enough for the iPhone 11, but there are so many other options, that’s not a dealbreaker for me.
