Griffin Tattoo Salve 1oz

Suprised I'm only the second person to review this. Got this stuff from my local tattoo shop after getting a new tattoo. Decided to use this to moisturize, while it's healing. I was originally perfectly fine with going out and getting aquaphor, but this stuff looked pretty legit. BROS. I have been using it for the past three days and my tattoo looks and feels amazing!!! I have even been stretching my ears, and I'm at 8G right now, but asked the piercer there if this stuff would be good for that and they said "Yes" so I've switched to using this from straight coconut oil, and I'm completely sold on this stuff. It makes everything feel a lot more comfortable, healthy, and stretchy. The word 'supple' comes to mind, it is a very good word to describe how my skin feels. Haha. Not feelings of tacky-ness, nothing feeling like a thick sticky coat on my tattoo (which is on my back.) It also smells great. IT IS NOT 'SENTED' but it does have natural chamomile in it, and that's what it smells like to me.

This is my first time using this for my second tattoo I got on my bra strap area. I use h2o ocean foam blue green soap (which I love btw) and then I use this. I think it healed the area up much faster but my tattoo is just simple lines with no shading. My first tattoo is already healed so I didn’t use this on that one for healing purposes. If I get a third which most likely I will in a year or so I will use it for the third one and see if it really heals it faster. So far I’m happy with it. I switch between Aquaphor and this. Only complaint is it smells pretty weird but it’s not overly smelly.

I got this from my tattoo artist after my last tattoo, and OH. MY. Previously, I have always done the aquaphor/lotion thing, but I'll definitely never do that again. This completely got rid of that burning sensation on day one, and anytime it starts to get itchy, I just throw a little of this on and the itch is gone. I can't say enough how impressed I am by this, because I honestly didn't expect to be.

Received this after last tattoo. Was amazed that it seriously caused me not to itch my tat as it was healing. Will never use aquaphor again. Just used it again on a 2nd tat & healed much quicker. Now buying as the tat I am getting will be much bigger. Very happy
