Wow
Works well with low power drill because there's few cutting points.

Ate through cement and lath ceiling
I bought this hole saw to install recessed lighting in an old, wood-lath-cement-and-hard-plaster ceiling. It's about 1-1/4" total thickness. The cement is particularly abrasive ... I've seen it reduce toothy steel saw blades to polished smoothness after just a few strokes. And I needed a hole cutter that did not use reciprocating motion, which can bring down an old lath ceiling. This hole saw got the job done in no time at all! It went through the last hole just as quickly as the first one.I'd caution purchasers that you'll also need an arbor, and the 1/4" center-bit that came with my (previously-purchased) arbor ... I think it's a DeWalt product ... is too short for this hole saw's depth. I was able to remove that center-bit and replace it with a standard, jobber-length 1/4' twist drill, which was sufficiently long. This is a sturdy product that provided great value for the price.

Good quality but not for my metal cutting
Good quality but a bit unwieldy for my application. I purchased to cut holes in metal for ceiling. I wasn’t set up for this application: I used hand drill (no drill press available) and I couldn’t control the bit wobble.

Pretty rugged
I needed to get a 4" vent duct through both sides of a wall. Each side of the wall is comprised of a layer of FRP, 1/4" mdf, 5/8" drywall, heavy gauge metal lath and a full 1" of cement. I expected to spend a considerable amount of time and ruin the blade on these two holes but I needed to get through. This blade ate through all of that without a second thought and it still looks like brand new.

Cuts fast in drywall
Fast easy cutting - for 4" can lights / ceiling . Though will cut a little oversize - which could be a mandrel center problem?

So so
Wanted a drill to drill through oak wood to install an outside vent. Hit a nail and two of the five carbide teeth broke off. Also the sheet metal bent and had to straighten it out. Not recommended for a tough job.

Must have for installing high hats in plaster ceilings
Must have for installing high hats in plaster ceilings. This tool went through a layer of drywall, plaster and lath in seconds.

Good for the price but not for brick
I needed it for brick and it would not go through it. I'm sure it will work for softer items though.

Great tool
As advertised. Good aggressive cut.
