Lovely behind the scenes view
For fans of RWBY, this is a great book that offers a behind the scenes view at the show. It's not an in-depth look at the lore behind the show (and there are other sources for that, e.g. World of Remnant). Instead, the most rewarding bits are the artwork and quotes from CRWBY (the crew behind the show) that provide background insight about how certain things came to be and why.

定価？で買ったので4000円近くしましたが、ハードカバーでフルカラー、図鑑サイズ。わたしは妥当だと思いました。いまはなぜか75％オフなので、日本語版のBDなど発売されて興味がある人は買って損はないかもしれません。もちろんアメリカの書籍なので中身はすべて英語です。しかも設定資料集です。ところどころスタッフのコメントもあり、作品の設定だけではなく、製作者の側にも少し踏み込んでいます。まさしく"The World of RWBY"でしょうか。平易な言葉で書かれていますし、設定を知りたい人なら楽しめる内容だと思います。一方で、アートブックのようなものを期待して購入すると残念なことになります。挿絵は基本的に本編の静止画ばかりで構成されていて、描きおろしの絵などはほとんどありません。内容はVolume 5までなので、Volume 6以降をまとめた2巻や3巻がちゃんと出てくれることを期待しています。

Beautiful illustrations! A real work of art
One of my friends got me into RWBY a couple months ago, and I fell in love. I ordered the book to get more familiar with the show and a more in-depth explanation of the premise, characters, etc and was not disappointed. There are gorgeous illustrations on each page, some of which take up two entire pages. Lots of cool behind the scenes info and very in depth. I’d definitely recommend this book to any fan of RWBY.
