Is this the best case?
From start to finish: This is an amazing buy, and great case. To address the most common question, my operating temp, running the same workload, has dropped from average of ~57c to currently ~36c. Switch between file transfer, web video playback, usb video playback, and retro pie psx emulation, no problems save for file manager needed to be reinstalled post update; open terminal and run "sudo apt-get install --reinstall pcmanfm -y && reboot" which will rebuild your file manager with permission "-y" and then "&&" reboot :).Now for the case: sturdy as can be asked for unless you want solid aluminum. Smooth finish on top with hard acrylic base. The fan/gpio board works flawlessly and quietly partnered with amazing ventilation leaves a nice cool pi. Indicator lights in front with the ports in rear gives a sleek appearance with professional functional design. I went with the power supply option so I've incurred no issues on supplying power to multiple usb devices. The audio works without issue and the power button is an awesome feature, granted the time between soft shutdown and forced is o ly ~2sec of long press time so not ideal there(my only complaint so far). Over all I don't think I'll ever need another case for this pi, and look forward to the next iteration with the pi 4 which I'll be getting in a few months.Overall: is it quiet: more than you'd expectIs it good looking and high quality: couldn't ask for much betterDoes it have all instructions and support needed: plenty plus extra features not yet discussed in the main advert(infrared for those feeling froggy).Does it meet power reqs. And still function okay while gaming: yuppersWill it get you a girlfriend?: no but my non-tech artist of a wife think it looks like a legit mini pc and loves the magnetic gpio cover.

Best functional and best looking case for raspberry pi
This thing looks and ffunctions amazingly well. Such a sleek design makes it blend with most tabletops and it doesn't even look like a computer at first. The passive cooling is on par with the flirc cases and it even has an option for active cooling in case the passive isn't enough. Theres a removable top to access the gpio pins if you need those and redirecting all the ports to one side is such a nice feature that really cleans up the look that no other case can do.

Mine came with faulty board. Case looks nice though. If it worked it’d be perfect!
I absolutely love the look, the solid feel of the aluminum, and everything else about it except the fact that the one I got unfortunately has something wrong with the pcb that plugs into the pi. When plugged in to the pcb the screen just turns on and off in a loop but unplug it and plug the hdmi in direct and the pi works perfectly.

by far the nicest case i've used.
I need to play with it a while for a better review. But the assembly and fit and finish are over the top. I plan to use this with a bread board kit.I will keep you posted.

Great cooling
This is the best case I've had for my pi3 b+. Has active cooling and works well. The proprietary software allows you to just put the power button for three seconds to power off no unplugging or switching on and off.
