Princes Rhubarb in Light Syrup (540g)

I love rhubarb, and this is an excellent way for me to enjoy it "off season". It is delicious and makes great sauce. My only issue was that the air cushioning in the box didn't hold up - both cans were dented. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this product

Love Rhubarb 😋

Dreadful. Pieces are scarcely more materially substantial than thin pudding. Sour and tart enough but not very sweet. Mostly fluid, few pieces. Uniformly beige, no other color like red or green. My lowest assessment, a failure of this product by any standard I can imagine. After tasting five pieces, I threw out the remainder.

The texture was a little too watery for me. I thickened it. The rhubarb was over cooked. I like rhubarb a bit more sturdy and definitely more tart.

Bought this for strawberry rhubarb pie and it's perfect!

HOME COOKING

Pay attention to the attached photos! I so wanted to make a pie for my dad, even though out of season. It was pea green and mushy. Not a terrible taste, but did not taste like rhubarb. Definitely not worth the HIGH price.

This rhubarb is ideal for using in a pie or a crumble.

I use this with a bowl of some of my cereals. It adds to the total effect well and is a tasty addition

Perfect for baking, good quality rhubarb if you’re in a rush! Delicious in a rhubarb and custard cake.

Truly awful. Opened the tin, and all i saw was a beige sludge, couldn't tell what it was. Thought I'd go in for the taste test. But all i got was the flavour of metallic tin and additives, it was like eating perfume. People on here giving it 5 stars, how in the world.
