The Sound of Magic: Cinderella

My 4 year old daughter loves this book. I took off one star because it did take us a little bit to figure out how to lay the wand to make the sounds happen. It seems like you need to lay the wand flat against the paper on the symbol. It is not a board book. But super cute, great illustrations and fun.

My 3 and 4 year old sons love this book. It only took 1 time of reading it to determine how to place the wand correctly to make the sound (sounds like some reviewers were confused about that). Also other reviews mentioning there is only one type of sound are wrong. The graphics are lovely and thoughtfully integrate lots of different races - thank you for that!! This is the only book my kids have wanted to immediately read again!

My daughter LOVES this book - the illustrations are gorgeous and she loves the sound effects. However, please note that the sounds are only on a handful of pages (not every page makes a sound) - I would estimate about a quarter of the pages play a sound. Also, the sounds are limited in terms of variety and I can see how they would eventually get repetitive and boring for a child.

I love this version of Cinderella. The story is well done and my 4 year old granddaughter loves that the magic wand makes music play. Nice touch!

Very entertaining. Don’t known how durable it will be, so not sure about value for money, but very entertaining. I don’t like it when they change the basic facts of such stories, but they seem to do that so often, can’t rate lower for that.

The product came with leaking batteries. And the whole book was broken even after changing the leaking battery.
