The console lid was a near perfect replacement for the broken original one. The first lid I ordered arrived in the mailbox completely empty. I suspect someone along the shipping trail knew what it was and received a 5-finger discount. At any rate, Amazon customer service made good on the loss of the first one and shipped out another one arriving 3-days later. The installation was easy (Be sure to watch the Youtube video first) and restored both the aesthetic appearance and functionality of the original console lid. The old lid was broken in multiple places with the new one completely quiet. One plus was the new lid was leather versus the old one being vinyl, so I consider it an upgrade!!

I have an 04 Chevy that came without the lid to the center console. My bf did help me put it together, but I feel like I could’ve figured it out on my own. Super easy. Doesn’t come with instructions but it’s super easy. It does stick a little, but that could be my button on the center console itself. Overall, super happy and would repurchase again if I had to.
