Be Bold, Baby: Oprah

I bought this book because (1) I love Oprah and (2) because I want my daughter to be exposed to books that spread a positive message about women. The book features several quotes by Oprah. One of the quotes reads "Some women have a weakness for shoes...I can go barefoot if necessary. I have a weakness for books." The whole point of buying this book was so that my daughter wouldn't be exposed to negative stereotypes about women...I definitely do not want to teach her, especially at such a young age, that women are known for buying too many shoes. :(

Both the Michelle Obama and Oprah Be Bold, Baby books are beyond amazing. They are so cute, the message is so positive, empowering and sweet. The artwork is done so well. I've been buying these books for all of my friends kids!

Bought this for my 1.5 yrs old niece- it's one of her favorite books. The illustrations are so adorable, featuring Oprah in all of her life stages and moments. I want to buy another copy for myself!!!
