Granger'sTent + Gear Repel/with Added UV Protection / 16.9oz

I bought this to waterproof my nylon jacket. I washed the jacket and, while still damp, followed the instructions and sprayed it thoroughly. After it dried, I wore the jacket in a light rain/mist while walking the dogs for about an hour. The water beaded a little for about a minute then started to soak through. Since the jacket was wet when I got home, I sprayed it again. Next light to medium rain wore it again. Again, the water beaded for minute or two then started to soak through the material. It may work on other things, but it didn't work on a nylon jacket. As others have said, the spray nozzle isn't the best but it was OK.

I used it on my tent after resealing the seams. It renewed the waterproofing on the basin and kept me dry through a rainstorm. Tent was sitting on a wooden base, which if you have ever camped at a BSA camp...you know how annoying those are. Standing water all around you. Nothing leaked in.

I have no issues on the effectiveness of the product; however, the spray bottle is completely inadequate. I was unable to use all of the product before the spray portion of the bottle broke. I would strongly encourage Granger’s to find a different source for their spray nozzles.

I was able to treat my entire tent (6 X 20) easily using the great spray bottle. I was able to reach the middle of the roof with the spray making it easy to coat the entire roof of the tent. The only problem is that this product works best if it can soak into the product it is trying to protect. If you have a plastic-based product this product might not be optimal.

I bought this product to improve waterproofness of a large family tent. Didn't seem to make any difference.

Spray bottle is terrible. Clogs continuously. Manufacture must know the sprayer is wrong for the liquid. Will never buy again.

Great stuff. The spray bottle itself is OK but not great but the product is excellent.

The spray nozzle is defective. Really drps more than anything but can be spread over the jacket
