I'm lowering the element wattage since I'm moving the water heater to the solar system, and these worked fine.

It fits!
We manage apts. with older wiring & it’s important to change out the element for the water heaters. We normally hire a plumber to change it out. Our buying this part ourselves saves us money and time since the plumber usually doesn’t carry this part in his truck.

Plan for removal and installation using an adequate wrench or socket.
Was concerned if my heavy duty socket would work correctly due to the angled cutback and limited nut height. Removed and installed a total of four elements without a problem. Everything is working great.
