You get what you pay for. Good price and free shipping with Prime. Was a little smaller than I thought it would be (should have paid more attention to the specs) but works well on our front porch and gives off a good amount of light with the single recommended 60watt bulb. Installation was pretty straight forward. Like the easy hang that Thomas included, simply hooks up once you have the mount on. Makes connecting the wires easier and not putting unnecessary stress on the power lines. Only criticism is the length of the bolts that attach the light to the mounting bracket. They protrude quite some way beyond the exterior of the lamp. I will be cutting them shorter tomorrow to complete the install or you could just buy shorter bolts. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Just okay. Looks fine but the finish doesn't seem to be built to last and the gauge of metal seems a tad thin and chincy. It's not a bad fixture by any means but for $27, I think more is reasonable expected. There are cheaper fixtures that are just as good. Might want to either go cheaper or spend $15 more and I believe you will be getting a better value for your buck.

This wall lantern works ok, though it was annoying that I had to modify it to fit with the hole patterns on my outlet box to make it line up vertically. The biggest issue is its size: it is very small, which is hard to tell in the figure, and in fact is too small, in my opinion, for most porch-light applications.

We picked up one of these to replace our other front porch light that was a dusk to dawn type, that had decided it only wanted to work on its own schedule, which most of the time wasn't dusk to dawn. Much easier to just flip the switch on when you want it on and off when you don't, lots less to go wrong. This light showed up quickly and was packaged very well to ensure it would make it to us in one piece. Spent about 20-30 minute after work doing the switch out last night, and for the most part everything went just fine. The only problems I had were caused by our old light we were replacing, not the new one, old thing just didn't wanna give up the ghost!! We are very happy with our new porch light. Everything works perfectly and nothing is broken or missing. Sure is nice to have LIGHT on our front porch at night when we need it, instead of at noon during the day! ha! Anyways, we think this was a good deal and are happy with our choice. We would recommend to others looking for a light like this.

The fixture seems well made but arrived without a usual mount, luckily I was able to adapt an old one, but had to run to the store for acorn nuts and paint them black. Still the installed product looks good.

Thin Metal, nice glass. Easy to install but the instructions are about useless. They were for a different light. Everything you need (except a screw driver and a meter) is included.

It's not fancy and pretty small, but works fine for the place I needed it. If I had the room, I would have gotten something nicer.

I was very pleased with the quality of this Thomas Hawhorne outdoor light. It is solidly made with attractive beveled glass and a very good finish. Plus, it is very easy to change bulbs without having to disassemble the unit. Also the price is well below similar units I saw at nearby big box stores. A good deal!
