Not impressed with curtain rod
When opened out to 12-13 inches the curtain rod is not very strong and quite wobbly. Just nit pleased with the functionality. If your spot was 7-10 inches it might work well.

If this is what you need, it does the job.
I needed short, unobtrusive rods for our sidelight windows and these were pretty much the only option. I'm happy with them, though. They were easy enough to install and are hidden entirely by the curtain. The rod itself is just two pieces of plastic, which fit snugly their designated anchors. It's cheap and I wasn't sure how strong it would be. It isn't a problem with such short rods, at least. The anchors have holes both on the back and sides so you can choose which works better with your location. I used the back holes on one side and the side ones on the other. They were easy to get to with a power drill. I needed to drill a pilot hole because the screws were big enough. I know screws come smaller, and certainly the narrow rod I got didn't need so big of screws. But, I'd imagine all their curtain rods use the same size screws, so I can't fault that.

Twin Toddler Proof So Far
This is the solution we have found to provide light, block onlookers, secure to stop twin toddlers from tearing them down, and removable to wash the sheers. The rods are cheap plastic (I don't care), basically invisible, secure firmly with screws at the top and bottom, yet they come off easy enough to clean the sheers when the toddlers get them sticky. I tried the adhesive panels; the toddlers tore them down. I tried the frosted spray; the toddlers chipped it off and tried to eat it (what a mess and the smell)! I tried the suggested magnetic rods; they weren't nearly strong enough. I tried a half dozen Pinterest solutions to no avail. I have zero time for things that don't work.FYI: To get the photo, we needed to order three panels of the Stylemaster Home Products Elegance Voile Side, 30-Inch by 72-Inch, Light Beige to match Sherwin Williams color Kilm Beige. Not the cheapest solution, as I needed three, but I don't have the time to sew my own right now, or think, or sleep, or really even to write this review.

One bracket does not easilty fit into larger tube but they did the job
These clear and light curtain rods were good to hang a pair of narrow, 44" long front door sidelight sheers. They allow for tension between top and bottom and are virtually invisible. Other rod designs that fasten over the top of their brackets might not provide enough tension without slipping. My complaint, also found in other reviews, is that the larger bracket does not easily fit into its tube end. I was able to force it about half way and I hope it holds up. I was concerned that additional pressure to insert would crack the tube. I would look for a different manufacturer if I had to do this again because of that flaw. Two pair needed for my application cost more than the sheers and I expect better manufacturing quality for the price.

Looks great with sidelight sheer
I like the clear as it doesn't show when you put the sheer on the rod. Worked great for a front door sidelight.
