I love these books. I did one with my daughter as well. It really gets a conversation going with your son. You get to talk about things you might otherwise know about. We like to hide the book somewhere for the other ones to hide it when we’ve finished writing our section adding to the excite

My son is a little young to do this on his own, but we sit and do it together and I do the writing and it has opened up topics I never would have thought to ask about. I now understand my son’s brain and thoughts a little better. It’s a great opportunity to unplug and have some one-on-one bonding time.

This is fun! It was recommended at book club & excited to start with my kids. A neat way to make sure we stay connected.

I bought this for my son and I to do, and honestly it sat there for a while untouched.... But one day I picked it up and decided to start it. I loved the cute age appropriate prompts for us to fill out... Almost like really getting to know each other. He started filling his out too and I believe he liked it... Though I'm not sure he read mine. What we will likely do is fill it out first then maybe go over the answers together one evening. It's such a cute idea!

I gave this to my 10 year old for Christmas. We’ve spent the last three months writing back and forth. It has been wonderful. The prompts cover lots of topics (some fun others more serious). It has been a great way to connect more with my son and he loves hearing the stories about when I was his age. Recommending this to all the moms I know

This has my 9 year old and I laughing for almost 2 hours. We only did 4 pages and he asked if we could keep writing on the journey instead of watching TV. Like, what?!They have different versions for different relationships, but I highly recommend grabbing one if you want to connect with your kid.My little dude has been through it in the last 2 years and this feels like a great step on working through our communication.Plus, it's super fun.
