Cuerdas para Guitarron Selmer Colors (Red)

My guitarron (Reyes) seems to like these strings better than other brands. These strings seem to be in the range of low to medium tension. Makes playing G# and Eb very easy. In the sun, these strings look fluorescent. Great product.

I ordered these for a gig coming up rather quickly. As I replaced the strings on my instrument, the new E string ended up unwinding, so the red nylon wrap was very loose and was moving. I was able to bunch it up toward the nut or stretch it out; it was, for all intents and purposes, not usable. Since the gig was so close, I ended up using my old E string and replacing the others. I'm definitely happy with the rest of the set, but I may have received a defective E string. After the gig, it wasn't worth it, to me, to seek replacement or refund, since I bought them specifically for that performance and have not needed my instrument since.

These were the best Strings for Guitarron I have ever bought! I used these strings for 10 years! As a freelance musicans in the Mariachi world, I would receive compliments on my tonality with these strings! I would definitely recommend these strings.I'm currently using Guadalupe Custom Strings to try out different types of strings, but I'm thinking about switching back to Selmer!
