Used and recommended by researchers at the University of Kansas, the head researcher said "Over and over again the Catchmaster traps come through. Even when traps are crowded and full, the Catchmaster brand catches recluse by as little as one leg." While some companies sell small numbers of larger traps, it is more effective and economical to set a large number of small traps. Larger traps aren't more likely to catch a spider. It's the edge of a trap that catches a spider anyway. The simple conclusion is: the more traps you set, the more spiders will be caught. So here are 10 reasons why Catchmaster Glue Traps are excellent for controlling Brown Recluse spider populations in your home: 1. While Brown Recluse spider infestations are thought by many to be impossible to eliminate, research at the University of Kansas has shown that "effective population management is possible" with Catchmaster glue traps, 2. Pros: • They are non-toxic • They are easy to use, easy to set and put together • Place them around the house and you will catch perhaps dozens of brown recluse spiders per trap • They work on any spider and make a great pest control • You get 30 traps that provide a great value for the money Cons: • You will see the traps in the home • Some people may feel “grossed out” picking the traps up to dispose of them • Pets will step on them if the trap is in the open Summation: These traps work great. I have caught dozens of brown recluse spiders in a single trap. They are non-toxic and safe to use around pets and children. Just place the traps on the floor along walls, in corners, under your bed and furniture. Brown recluse typically move along walls or obstacles like that so that is where you place a trap. They like dark places so that is where you put the traps along walls for best results. I have been bitten by a brown recluse spider in my bed and the bite hurt for months and it was the size of a Nerf football in shape and size on my side. My wife and daughter have been bitten as well over the years. We were all lucky and had no scars, just pain for 4-6 weeks. After the third bite I declared war on them and our home is full of traps now and no more brown recluse bites. I threw away 3 traps earlier today full of brown recluse so I went to get more traps for a picture since I did not want to dig to the bottom of my trash bin. As I looked at my first trap I saw a brown recluse that had not yet gotten into it! As I moved the trap he mad a run for it but he didn’t get far and ended up getting a whirlpool bath in my toilet. I did find a trap next to my bed and took a picture of that one. I change traps often and always at the end of winter in the entire house. Verdict If you have brown recluse spiders in your home you should have already placed these traps out! If not, do it now. These traps are safe and work great. You will see the results in them quickly. I highly recommend them. Purchase some now and they will be at your door in a few days. Review: Great for smaller bugs, not so much for cockroaches - I got these traps after running out of Catchmaster 100i traps, which were a bit more expensive. While these are good at catching silverfish and other smaller bugs, they don't seem to be as effective in catching American cockroaches. Initially, I thought my other measures to repel cockroaches were working well, because I wasn't seeing them in the traps anymore, but once the weather started to get hot, I did find a few again outside of the traps. I suspect that they were able to overpower the adhesive, but I don't know for sure. I think these are probably fine traps for most people, but I would recommend the Catchmaster 100i instead if you want to catch American cockroaches. One other nice thing about those is that the "insect trap" wording isn't so big/conspicuous either.

Excellent Pest Control Solution That Is Simple, Safe, and Effective
I've been using the Catchmaster Spider & Insect Glue Traps for a few weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The product comes with 30 traps (10 sheets that fold into 3 traps each), making it a great value for the price. Setup was quick and easy. Just fold along the lines, peel the protective film, and place them where needed. Within a couple of days, I started seeing results. These traps have caught spiders, roaches, and even a few crickets that were sneaking in from the garage. What I really appreciate is that they’re pet-safe and odorless, so I can place them in multiple areas of my home without worry. The glue is very strong, and nothing escapes once it's caught. The traps also double as monitors so you can see what pests you're dealing with. I recommend checking them every week and replacing them as needed. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with occasional indoor pests. This is a clean, non-toxic solution that actually works.

Best ant bait we've found.
Best Ant bait ever. We have ghost bugs where we live. The tiniest ant-like bugs. Smaller than sugar ants, and fast. It has nothing to do with how clean your house is. They just invite themselves in, in parade formation. Exterminator put gel bait and says "be patient. It takes 14 days." We bought this bait and BAM 2-3 days and very few sightings.

Really only effective on active crawling insects
These work OK if you have observable insect traffic routes, ants, crickets, roaches and don't have curious pet cats like me.. Several times I have had to pull them off the feet and tails of our cats.. One of our cats got bit by a brown recluse on the hind foot and it was a bad month.. Without some way to attract the insect like spiders it becomes just dumb luck if they decide to go in the trap.. Specialized traps for spiders have pheromone scented glue and are more expensive to get better results..
