Cat Footwear Women's Nitrogen Wp Wmns Ct Hiking Boot

After wearing steel toes for over twenty years and suffering freezing feet for over twenty years I decided to get a composite toe that would not conduct the cold in the manner that steel does, i.e. frozen feet. These are pleasing to the eye and they do not have the huge toe cap that some composites have due to the extra material that has to be put in to meet crush standards. They are also toasty warm, waterproof and provide good support. My issue with these boots is the sizing. They are not exactly flexible and in some cases I can even wear a narrow boot, however, these boots are very narrow for some reason. If you need to wear a thick boot sock they are certainly going to be too tight. Not sure why they were made like this given how everything else is just right. I would suggest ordering a wide and wearing an extra pair of socks.

The boots were not true to size. For this to be Composite Toe Safety boots, they stay rather cold, even when it was in a warm environment. The boots were rather hard and uncomfortable as well. I returned them.

Nice looking boots, but way too big. Will need to return these. Been using Rocky and Timberland in size 6 and they have fit perfect.

When I exchanged the boot for a 8.5 medium the company sent 8.5 large which was to large.

I have never written a review but while shopping for a pair for my daughter decided to do so because I love my own so much. I actually bought a pair of men's in 8.5, I wear 10.5 women's but could find no work or hiking boots that i liked for women at a decent price. The price here is much cheaper than what I paid at Meijer. They were so comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period needed. The toe bent easily with walking and while the rest of the boot is rigid enough to provide good support to make my feet and ankles feel secure, they are also flexible enough to be extremely comfortable. They are also pretty lightweight for boots. The non-slip sole was nice and grippy on the rocks as I hiked in Arizona and made me feel safe and confident walking on the rugged terrain. I don't remember how many times I literally said out loud "I love these boots." The only thing I'm worried about is wearing them out because I've been wearing them almost every day. But if I do, I will definitely buy an identical pair. I haven't tried out the waterproof component yet.I wanted to add to my review because I am still loving these boots and wear them almoat daily. I even played basketball in them and they were very comfortable and the soles gripped the pavement better than any shoes ever have.
