American International BKGMK346TB Dash kit for 1999-2002 GM trucks and Suv's

I had to write a review after extensive research on a double din dash kit for my Silverado: I bought this truck new in ‘99, and have been meticulous about it’s upgrades and modifications. If it won’t pass for original, it doesn’t happen. Almost all of the kits are black and smooth, which doesn’t match the interior color or texture at all. I bought this with a can of graphite interior paint, fully expecting to paint it.Low and behold, this kit is textured and graphite in color, and it would be a perfect color match if my dash wasn’t 20 years old. Fit and finish are around 95% accurate for me, which saved time on modifying my original panel I just don’t have. The only deviation from OE is the “depth” of the dash separation bars, which are nominally deeper.Installed over a Pioneer AVIC8500NEX and could not be happier. I highly recommend this dash panel for 99-2002 Silverados!

It fits really well and has a factory look to it the double den screen fit in and looks great

Good and bad. First the good- looks great came with everything needed. The bad lots of custom cutting to make it fit my stereo. Had to drill new holes in the brackets and had to dremmel out about 1/2 inch all the way around the head unit why this didn’t come with a face plate for the trim around the head unit but hey if you don’t have the tools try and find a better kit

Fits perfectly the clips haven't given me trouble on either of my truck that I have used these on my only grip is it doesn't come in factory colors but it is easy to tape off and paint so it looks factory

Worked out great and fit the truck perfectly!

It was close to the same color but just off with the factory sheen. The clips were crappy I used OEM Chevy ones and it held better and tighter. Few places it didn't sit completely flat but I the instally only know about it. Look good when finished and help of a heat gun.

I guess it fits ok. Color match is off and it doesnt fit as tight as the original. Large visable seams around the border

I was barely able to get this to go on, and it fit horribly. I was on the phone with the manufacturer a few times and sent them several photos and videos of the poor fitment. It would not seat fully against the dash around the steering column and was too short on the right side, causing the vent to hit the bezel when turning. It also did not have any of the standoffs or guides the OEM one had. The company was not really interested in helping me out. They said I shouldn't use their clips, but reuse the stock ones (since two of the clips broke) They just kept repeating that it should be just like stock, which it was not even close.
