A+ fit perfect. Hard to find part
Fit perfect which bearing size marked clearly. Seems to run smoothly. One of the few options available for zs66. Used to to convert back so I can use my 1.5" tapered form Instead of looking for another 1.8"... Wouldn't hesitate to get the upper if they had an option for those who have integrated headset cable routing.

Really nice headset lower, right when I needed it
I had ruined the cheap caged ball bearings that came installed on my daughter's bike. The local bike shop said they can't even order these bearings anymore (??) and they'd need to order a new headset. I knew this would take forever. Ordered on a Saturday afternoon from Amazon, had it installed on Monday afternoon!!This was pretty straightforward. The bike in this case (Polygon Xtrada) had a standard ZS tapered headtube but a straight steer 1-1/8" fork. I already had a ZS44 for the upper but needed this ZS56/30 for the lower and it just couldn't have been any simpler. Pop out the old steel lower cup, press in the new alloy cup, pop in the bearing, enjoy. Some of these use a 2pc adapter to fit either straight or tapered steerers. I prefer the 1pc when it's available...just 1 less thing in the assembly to worry about. The seal around the split crown "race" is a nice touch to keep grime out of the lower bearing and I didn't have to beat it onto the fork...it just snapped nicely into place by hand. It's a small thing but the packaging is pretty cool, too, and makes it seem like something more than a trivial alloy cup and bearing. For <$20, this is well worth a unique unboxing experience, not having to fiddle with greasing ball bearings, reducing maintenance intervals, and preload on the headset is much easier to set.Good quality cup which fits very well, good seal, hopefully a decent bearing, decent price, and fun(n) packaging adds up to a great experience. Next time I need a new headset, I'll be looking at FUNN.I'd be interested in knowing how to buy just the 40mm crown "race" in case I change to tapered fork later and don't need the cup.

Converted and old straight steer bike to tapered steer tube
My 2002 GIANT NRS frame was built for 1-18 straight steer tube forks. But those are very difficult or impossible to find used with 90-100 travel and 15x100 axles. However tapered steer tube 1.5T forks are abundant, and merely changing the lower headset bearing to an external cup bearing solved the problem. A great solution and it saved me hours of waiting to find the "right" fork. My "new" fork is a 2013 Fox FLOAT 32mm CTD 120mm travel 15x100 1.5T, for under $300. Only needed this bearing and it worked out great.

Great for diamondback overdrive conversion!
I have a 2016 or so diamondback overdrive with a 42mm upper and a 44mm lower inner diameter. The stock headset is what I would call semi-integrated, meaning the top is considered an IS42, and the lower is considered an EC/44. You'll have to search for headset standards to fully understand the naming convention, but needless to say the lower headtube has to be converted using this product. Higher end bikes typically standardize on 42/52, so they have a larger lower diameter on the head tube, and this part essentially does that for you. This means that in the future, you can buy standard replacement parts, or replace your headset with a standard 42/52 headset as the bearings will fit perfectly. Additionally you can install newer, cooler forks. This part comes with a 40mm inner diameter on the 52mm lower bearing, which allows you to install a modern tapered fork, referring to the headtube which is 1 1/8 od at the top, and x 1 1/5 od at the bottom. This will provide more stiffness and stability overall and also look cooler than the stock spring loaded forks that come from the factory.Keep in mind, this product will increase stack height on the lower by about 12mm, which is negligible, but is a factor to consider. The same would happen if you installed increases travel forks, or taller tires.

Pretty Great, enabled my mullet conversion
Week built, nicely packaged and just what I needed to turn my circa 2008 trail bike into a 27.5/26 mullet combo. Thanks for making parts like this available!
