Had one of these aerators for several years. It wore out last year, stopped aerating. Purchased a new one in the fall for this year. Cleaning this aerator once a week has always been a challenge, but was doable with some patience. The one I purchased last year, would not recommend. Totally impossible to screw the top on. Would have returned, but could not for obvious reason, purchased last year. Have to manipulate the top to sort of "squeeze" it on. At least it worked, fish seem to like it. Definitely would not replace once it does not function anymore. Way too expensive for such a poor design.

I bought this Pond aerator twice, the first one i never tried it for 7 months and when i did it worked fine until I lowered it down two feet to the bottom of my fish pen. the bubbles just stopped at that depth. I called the manufacturer and they said to send it back with the receipt (proof of purchase), which after 7 months I could not find. So i ordered another one and it does the same thing. It works good until you lower it down 2 feet or more. Now I called the manufacturer and talked to a device technician and was told that it wasn’t designed for salt water! That is irrelevant as brand new and it won’t work when lowered down to two feet. They would not do anything for me! I just threw both of them in the trash! I would not buy or recommend this product to anyone!

Looked nicer in the video, but much less bubbling action at only 1 foot deep. Also, must use in very very clean water or it clogs up too soon. The design is poor in regards to opening the unit to clean when wet. Top ring is difficult to twist since bottom part is smooth and if wet difficult to grasp. Floating flower get too dirty looking after a few days. Probably not worth the price.
