This case solved that problem! Also, being that I walk with a cane & only have ones spare hand when I'm on the go, it's very handy that this also has a handle. That feature was equally as important to me when I went hunting for a better case. (I don't understand why more manufacturers of cases for mobile devices don't incorporate a carrying handle.)Anyway, this case is built tough and I have no doubt that it might save my iPad from an accidental drop. It's a little difficult getting the iPad into (and out of) the case, so if you have arthritis, that's something to take into consideration.I have no negative comments except that I hoped this case was made of that soft mushy silicone, only because I love the feel of it.
