Gilmour Light Duty Garden Hose Nozzle with 8 Pre-Set Spray Patterns, Water Hose Nozzle for Watering Garden or Lawn

I bought this because it was the cheapest one I could find with a variety of settings. It's perfect for what I need it for. I just wanted something to clean the back porch of my apartment from time to time, and to have for safety when using the barbecue, so I don't anticipate heavy use. All of the functions worked and it seems pretty sturdy so far.

Had to replace our Gilmour garden-hose nozzle. We probably used the previous one for 15+ years! While this nozzle looks almost like a duplicate at first glance, looks are a bit deceiving. Our original nozzle was made of metal with a rubber coating, this is pretty much entirely plastic. While it seems to work well, and does exactly what the previous nozzle did, I wonder if we will still be using it in 15 years. However, so far it works as expected.

I have tried 6 other nozzles… this is the best for potted flowers and times where you need just right amount of spray for all plants, especially delicate flowers. And when you use this nozzle on a potted plant there is less of a chance that the dirt gets washed out from too much pressure like so many of the “other brands” of nozzles. We had one that lasted forever and I just got two more and I may order again just to have spares or seriously they would make a great gift for someone who loves to garden 🪴 ❤️👍

It’s easy to use, made well and lasted!

After using this the past three days for many different things, I've come to the following pros/cons:Pros:- "Clean" feature is extremely strong and can be used like a pressure washer.- Sturdy despite being plastic and very lightweight.- Features often not found on other spray nozzles.- Somewhat cheap for what you get.Cons:- The handle is extremely painful and digs into your palm, this was the major drawback for me and why I won't be using this very often. Others who tried to use also were given hand pain within a few minutes.- The "Shrub" feature was completely broken and did not work at all. I believe I got a defected unit. All other features fine.- The switch to hold the handle down/have continuous flow comes loose extremely easily as other reviewers have mentioned. Thus, it being useless for the most part.- Everything is very hard plastic and although it is very lightweight, it's highly prone to scratching, chipping, cracking, and damage. No metal or grippy rubber anywhere.- Very uncomfortable and non-ergonomic in general.Summary: If you don't have a pressure washer or a high-pressure nozzle, this will come in handy. It feels cheap, and is very uncomfortable, however. Certain features do not work.

The little metal clip you use to hold the nozzle open steadily instead of holding the handle down with your hand doesn’t work. Looks like the metal clip is supposed to actually snap into place behind inside the handle but it will not and the clip flips back up after a couple of seconds trying to hold it open. Overall the nozzle works fine just won’t stay open with the clip as it should not a deal breaker but would be nice if worked as it is supposed to.
