This book is WONDERFUL!!
I thought this book was just wonderful. I have read many books about the Mediterranean Diet and also got info online. This book has such great info to get you following the Mediterranean. I don't call it a diet because it's not a diet. You eat this way forever, the way the Mediterranean people eat this way. An endocrinologist told me the Mediterranean is the best diet there is and I believe her. I was first on this diet in the early 2000's and lost 30 pounds. Like a dummy, I went off of it but the 30 pounds did not come back. I am now following it and am now losing weight again. I have been on every diet there is and this one is the BEST!! The author did a great job giving so much information re: the Mediterranean way of eating. I don't say the D word anymore. I just call it the Mediterranean. I am a chipoholic. When I'm on the Mediterranean, I don't even crave chips anymore because my body now craves the good foods. And I feel so much better and happier now. Again, great job by the author. I bought the Mediterranean Diet Cookbook for Dummies and I can't wait to start reading it. Start eating the Mediterranean way, you won't regret it. #EatMediterraneanForever. :)

Not quite what I was expecting
Don't need history of what generated the plan. Jyst wanted a step by strp approach to working the plan into daily life with sample daily planning menus. Didn't provide that... Probably my fault for not researching better

Good book but some resources listed unavailable
This is a great book, I was struggling to find a healthy diet and this was strongly recommended by the internet. The only downside is the website listed in the book to find local fish in the area is no longer available. Some of the website resources listed in the book are no longer active. Other than that, it helped me get on track with portion sizes and helpful beginners recipes in the back.

I’m using this book to get my weight under control the wise way. I read this diet is the most popular diet that works on earth!!! The people that live in that region has the highest longevity for life on the planet 🌎!!! They live a long healthy life. I want to live like those people and reap the benefits. The book has everything in it you want. I’m so glad I got mine!

Came in perfect condition!
Bought this for a cheaper used price and it doesn’t even have a crease in it. Very happy and exciting to learn more about this diet

Great book, lots of info and written well
Great book, easy to read with plenty of recipes to try and it’s not like one of those diets that is extremely strict. There are alternatives and plenty of ideas. I really like this book and would highly recommend it.

This binding on this book is defective!
The first few pages are creased and tucked into the binding. My husband released these pages and they are oversized because they were not trimmed properly. This book should not have been sold as is!

I liked the book.
The book contains a lot of detailed information and some recipes at the end. I didn't know that basil was good for you or mint or that olive oil was healthy. it goes through many of the healthy herbs and gives you examples of legumes and vegetables. It's a good reference book to help understand the Med diet.
