Glass Honey and Syrup Dispenser

I'm using it for honey which gets thick. The handle is stiff and takes pressure to hold it for as long as I need it. I immerse the bowl in hot water to soften the honey first. I think for syrup it would be easy. The bowl is small and only holds about a cup. The mechanism is plastic so I'm careful while using it. Filling it is easy you just hold your finger over the bottom.

The lever that releases the honey is made out of plastic, not good. It is a weak point on the dispenser and it broke.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product. To be fair, it was the first time I have ever ordered something that I was not happy with - but I think Q&A really missed the ball here. The mechanism that is to 'open' then keep closed the stream of honey just tipped to the side allowing honey to pour completely out. Once it was 'opened' to the side, it never straightened out.The top: handle, lever, was a think plastic that was not made to function for long. Any pressure to open it could have caused it to break. Even the glass was poor quality, It appeared to be the design you find in finer restaurants for aprox. $30. Buyer beware, better to spend double the money and get a much better quality item that will last, then half the price only to throw it away.All that being said - Amazon made it easy to return the item, for which I am grateful.

After researching containers to dispense honey, I came across this item on Amazon and was slightly skeptical to order it based on previous reviews. However, the dispenser operates great and does not spill a drop!!

This dispenser is described to be used for syrup or honey; however, the only way to fill it is to physically is through the top and place your finger over the bottom hole and hope nothing leaks out. With warm syrup this is difficult. You then have to struggle to get the tube placed in through the top over the hole to close it or it leaks. With a warm and/or sticky material, this is very challenging. This has a unique appearance, but is simply not practical. I wouldn't purchase-- keep looking.

This Taiwan made product is very badly constructed, the central plunger is not straight, it goes down on an angle, so it does not seal the honey dispensing hole. All the honey leaks down into the bottom glass stand (see pictures). Do not waste money on this piece of junk, it does not work.

It's wonderful. So unique. Anyone who "honey's' their beverages just has to get one. The perfect gift for your Aunt, Mom, Grandmother, Sister or Friend.
