Great replacements
My shutters were installed 10 years ago and the magnetic catch plastic cover on all my shutters started disintegrating. These replacements worked perfectly and easily installed were the original ones were.

Good magnets, but lousy screws.
Magnets and backplates work great. They're stronger than the ones that came with the cabinets. I do not recommend using the screws that come with the magnets as they strip very, very easily (3 of 4 stripped and had to be removed. the 4th's head popped off and I was left with a sharp end, so I used the plastic housing of the magnet to cover the sharp bit). I had some equivalently sized screws that went in just fine. I do recommend drilling with a very small diameter bit to help get the screws in.

Perfect! Very pleased
I was long overdue to replace several of these. The need became more urgent when the last one standing on the bathroom shutter broke lol. I took the advice of others and kept my original plates and just replaced the brackets and magnets. Perfect fit. I used the existing screw holes. The magnets are strong. Should’ve done this long ago. Would definitely buy again and will likely have to as you know these things don’t last forever when they get dry and brittle from the sun.
