I bought a Black & Decker 20v sweeper to clean up the street and my sidewalks when I finish mowing. It came with a 1.5ah battery, which was just barely enough to get through the yard. I didn't like feeling rushed, and decided to order this battery to beef up my sweeping times. Well, not only does this thing run my sweeper for as long as I'll ever need it, but it also gave it more oomph! It blows air probably 25% harder than it was with the OEM battery. I'm overall very impressed with this battery. I've yet to actually run it out, and I use it twice as long as I did the original battery, so I would say the 5.0ah rating is pretty close to accurate. The build quality of the battery is good enough. It's plastic, but it's put together just as nice as the plastic on the OEM battery. In fact, it actually clips into my sweeper much nicer than the stock battery. I have only been using it for a couple months (roughly 10 mows, using it about 20 minutes a week), and so far it's held up just fine. Very very impressed. If you have any Black & Decker 20v products do yourself a favor. This battery is better than any OEM battery that you're going to pay 3x as much for. Even if you don't need the extended battery life the 5.0ah offers, get it just for that extra oomph for your tools!!

It's very goog. It works out well. I recommended. It provides more power to the tool and the charge lasts longer.

I was hesitant at buying this since I wasn’t familiar with the brand, but I am happy with my purchase so far. I have been using it for about 2 months and I’m very glad to be able to run my weed wacker for another hour once my original factory Black and Decker battery dies. Using the factory battery charger that came with my Black and Decker weed wacker, it takes hours to recharge either battery. So I can’t really complain that this battery takes a long time to charge since the original one does too. It’s a bit bigger & heavier, but fits fine so I don’t care or even notice that much. The power is good and doesn’t seem to let up any until it is about to die. I would definitely recommend this battery for anyone looking for one for their Black and Decker tools.

Battery seems to work well. It has generic Chinese battery cells inside that are marked 2500mah which is correct would make this battery 5AH (strangely it was marked 6AH on the outside not 5 like in the pic). I hooked it up in series with a 5AH from another manufacturer that used high quality LG cells and drained them together. This battery actually drained slower so I do believe the cells are at least what they say they are. The circuitry inside the battery doesn't seem to have the same components as the OEM battery. I do not believe this battery has all the protection and balancing of OEM. Bottom line is it works well form my purposes but I expect long term it will die faster than OEM, but for now I am happy and it was the cheapest 5AH battery I could find.

So far so good. I have yet to run out of power on a B&D line trimmer. The original battery would run 10 - 15 minutes. This battery has had run up to 45 minutes so far and still has power. Seems that the trimmer runs stronger too. It does take a while to fully charge but not a big deal. Haven’t started my gas trimmer since I got this battery. Good price. Works well. Hope it lasts some years.

I used the battery shortly after it was delivered. I cut down trees that were popping up in my yard using my Black and Decker reciprocating saw that now had new life. This battery works great.

I bought this to use with my black and decker yard tools. The first couple times i used it, it was great. I really only needed to use it for my blower as the battery that came with it just didn't last long. However after charging it maybe 5 times it would only charge for a short time then the charger would flash red that the battery was bad. It would still work some, just not as long. After about 4 more charges, it now just flashes the bad battery warning immdiately and does not charge at all. Be wary, it sounded like a great deal for the price, but you'd have to buy at least 3 or 4 to last as long as one of the name brand. Lesson learned.

It fits my Black & Decker weed trimmer and the B&D charger did a normal charge to full. Have not tested it yet for length of run time.
