MYBAT MyJacket Wallet with Tray for Nokia Lumia 521 - Retail-Packaging - Blue

I bought this case for my 521 because, for a while now, I've been looking for a wallet-like case for it. I had made one for my old Windows Phone, but with my new one I needed something different. As the Lumia 521 is, let's face it, a rare phone from Nokia, it's hard to find nice cases for it. I figured, for the price, I would try it out. I am a college student and this fit my criteria for around campus use: it holds my phone, as well as holds a couple cards (I only really use my student ID and a few others), and a small amount of bills as well.First Impressions:*I'm writing this review about 30 minutes after opening it and setting it up. I plan to revise this review in a few weeks after testing.*It came in about a week, in a thin, white, sealed envelope, not very padded but it wasn't damaged at all. The case itself was packaged inside a clear plastic box. There are no instructions but, honestly, what is there to be instructed on? It's a fairly straight forward case! I ordered the classic brown, which looked nice online. At first glance the case I recieved looks more red than brown, but I'm thinknig that, after a while, it'll fad nicely. Just a warning if you're dead set on this particular brown. The leather feels nice (I'm not completely convinced it's real leather), but it is not a typical wallet-quality leather. This case's leather is very thin, almost stretchy. This isn't an immediate problem, but I'll address my concerns about it shortly. The phone pops right in to the plastic holder mounted to the case. The card slots fit one card each, and there is a larger third pocket behind these for currency. I tried getting two cards in one slot, since I usually carry four essential cards with me around campus; this made it really hard to get the cards out, as well as prevented the front of the case from folding flat. The thin leather around the card slots worries me, since I feel as if I might tear it trying to remove a card. The larger pocket can hold money if you fold it over a few times, though the size of the pocket is a bit awkard for US currency.PROS:- affordable price- case doubles as a small wallet- simplistic design- one of the ONLY wallet cases for the Nokie Lumia 521- supple leather gives a nice look and feelCONS (these are a BIT nit-picky):- leather seems thin around card slots- money slot is a bit awkward- plastic holder could possibly come loose from leather backing- the brown is a bit more red than the shade of brown shownVerdict:Overall, I would say this is a great case for someone on a budget, possibly in college, who carries very little in the way of wallet items. Love this case. Perfect, really. You can set it up to sit on a table in any number of configurations, landscape, portrait, etc... It is also perfect for using in the car. You can set your phone with this case on your gauge console so that your GPS is right in front of you and it won't fall over or slide around anymore cuz of this case! Work with it...you'll find the perfect set-up. I really, really like it and have begun to see a little wear after many months of non-stop use. I will not hesitate to buy it again for that Amazon price. Mind you, this case is not going to protect your phone if your drop it from the 2nd floor onto concrete, but it's sturdy enough, and small and light so it is not bulky in the LEAST.Another great feature, in addition to the fact that the case works as a handy dandy stand in any situation, are the compartments for credit card, drivers license, etc... Now, I have a wallet/phone in one package, and it's small and lightweight. This jacket doesn't add much, if any bulk to the phone. No more forgetting my credit card or my driver's license in my jacket or pants pocket or on my dresser. They fit snugly and perfectly within this slick phone cover. I love this product. Amazing product. Amazing price.

This works good to protect my phone from my keys while in my pocket. I am not sure how much protection I would get if I dropped the phone on a cement surface. The vinyl material the case is mad of seems to leave residue on the screen, but it wipes off. There is room for a credit car or two if you would want to do that, but there is not a lot of room. The case folds to hold the phone horizontally on the counter top, which can be nice.

It's alright. I wanted a case from a different company, but had to pinch my pennies for now.the color is nice and the outer material feels good enough, but it feels like it's wrapped around cardboard. Also, I can't use the card holders without feeling like they're going to tear (which is fine I suppose because the case won't stay closed with cards in it) and the cash pocket is too narrow. And I wish it was an actual case instead of a plastic tray holding the phone in.but all in all, it's decent. Feels nice in my hand, is a good color, and provides some protection for the phone. I now have to wait and see how this holds up.

This was the most amazing phone cover. I purchased this for someone who doesn't like the traditional wallet case that has a closure or a magnet. It still stays closed and protects the phone even without that feature! The cut-outs are perfectly placed and the hole in the cover for the camera lens is spot on.The pink is spot on, and the perfect pastel. This is a great slim-line cover for anyone who hates bulk or having to "unclasp" their phone case. The phone snaps right in. Having witnessed several drops I can say this cover still protects.I would highly recommend this.

I would like to saymy husband has bought one of these cases in the past for a different phone and loved it. He never once lost his wallet or phone again. :) With that said, once you got his new phone he knew he wanted this case. It come invery quickly, but within a weeks time it started to come apart. I contacted the seller as soon as he told me and they were great. I didnt ask for a replacement, i just wanted them to know what had happened. They were promt with responses also. My husband and i will continue to use MyBat for cases because of this. Kudos to MyBat!

I bought this for my father. His first one lasted over a year when one of the corners that held the phone broke. He loved it so much he asked me to just buy him another of the same. For the price and it lasting over a year with every day use, it is a great product. Hoping the second one holds up as well.

Nice phone cover for the price. You could fit a couple of cards in it, as the picture shows. But, it would not serve well as a wallet. The 521 phone snaps in nicely with the back cover on. I would recommend this as a cover.
