It works!
It does exactly what I wanted it to do and more, the buttons are deceiving and they do a lot more than you think. There’s a short video on YouTube explaining. But I basically use it to shape tones.

What can I say? It's a BOSS.
Unless you really need a fancy looper like the RC-5 or the multi-button monsters, this is the best you can get. I love it for practice as I can lay down multiple loops to practice my improvisation over.

It's a Boss pedal, need I say more?
I'm partial, I've owned several Boss pedals, they're built like brick outhouses and have never let me down, as in quit or malfunction. That being said I had no doubt whatsoever when buying this RC1 looper pedal. I've only owned 2 other loopers, cheaper China made with a few unnecessary bells and whistles, this Boss pedal is the first one that plays back exactly what I put into, the other two were just ok, nothing to get excited about, the Boss is the real deal. Does it cost more, yes, is it worth it, yes again and it will most likely be around a lot longer than the others, it's just a dam good, solid, basic looper pedal that does what it's supposed to do. It has a few extras, the multicolored lighted circle that lets you know what mode you're in and where you are in the loop, 2 inputs and 2 outputs labeled A and B, some people will find the extras useful, I'd still give it 5 stars without them. You want a good looper pedal for around hundred bills, buy this one, you'll be glad you did.

Great beginner loop pedal
The quality is great and it does exactly what it is supposed to. There's a bit of a learning curve for beginners like myself, but within 10 minutes I was able to get the basics down and jam. If you're looking for a solid entry level looper, this is a great buy.
