A Squirrel's Tale

Every home that has a child in it should have this book. The little cardboard squirrel that is threaded thru the holes in the pages keeps the child engaged in the book.

Got this book for my sisters shower since it was our favorite growing up. It was excellent quality.

Do yourself a favor and don't bother buying this book used - the squirrel is guaranteed to be missing and a number of the pages will likely be ripped.This was a favorite book when I was little and I wanted to share it with my own kids - Amazon is one of the few places you can find a new copy. Unique story and very interactive with the squirrel, but kids can be pretty hard on the pages if they are under 5.

My sons ages 20 and 16 loved this book so much. They fight about who got to keep it for when they have their own kids.My 20 year old son requested that we had to get it for my two year old nephew for Christmas!

My grandkids love this as much as my kids did!

I first bought this book for my great-grandson years ago. He’s almost ten now & still plays with it every now & again. The squirrel piece slides in slots on these sturdy pages & this interactive piece keeps his attention. I’m purchasing again now for a gift!

A favorite from my childhood!

Still have the original books I bought from Osborne Books back in 1994-1995. There’s A Mouse About The House was my daughter’s favorite book! Had to seal tape up the mouse after years of using it through the board book!! Great fun! I have book my grandchildren this book as their first books! Loved by the family! Also The Squirrel’s Tale too!

What a delightful book! My 3 year old grandson wants me to read it to him again & again. It is interactive and we take turns moving the squirrel through the pages!

I have loved this book since I was 4 or 5 I am now 32 so its been in my heart for a very long time, one of my teachers used to read it to the class everyday before home time. I had forgotten about it until recently when it was mentioned by an old school friend, it got me thinking and so I decided to search for it so I could read it to my niece's. I was over the moon when I found it on amazon! It arrived pretty quick and in immaculate condition. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you to all that were involved in getting to me safely.

My two year old daughter found my sister's copy of this at my mam's house and totally loved it, as it was 34 years old (and still my sister's) I decided I'd try and find it online so she didn't destroy my sister's copy. It was easy to order, and came earlier than expected. My daughter loves it, she makes her own story up with 'her little friend the squirrel' and keeps her entertained for hours. It's a lovely story for her to 'read' on her own and a lovely story to read at quiet times. Really worth the money.
