800178 Ahi 200 Series Cast Net 10' Clear Mono Net 3/8" Mesh

The materials used are quite cheap. It tends to worn out quickly. The braille lines are cheap quality and VERY THIN. The weights are good quality but the net filament is cheap including the hand line which is very short (if you are casting from a high pier). It might need repairs soon. Also, if the braille lines break, it is almost impossible to repair the net. I had this problem before. I bought this 200 version thinking it will be good quality looking at the positive reviews. Now i think i should have spent 50 bucks more and bought the one with repairable braille lines from another brand. the version numbers on this new is a gimmick. 200 or 1000, its the same net.

net won't open up about 2 1/2 feet from the top all the way. Maybe because it's new and needs to stretch out but the first one I had didn't. Maybe because it was cheaper than the first one !
