Mantua Arcadia wood headboard, Full/Queen, Ebony

I purchased this headboard hoping to match a new quilt and lamp I bought for my bedroom. In the picture it looked to be the exact color I was looking for. When I received it, I was so excited because it was made of heavy "real" wood and the color was beautiful! Unfortunately, when I took it to my bedroom and laid it across my new quilt the blue colors clashed next to each other. I was so disappointed. Had my quilt not been a solid blue, but other color prints on it, maybe it would have worked. After I submitted the return information on Amazon, I was contacted by the seller Harper and Park who asked me to take a picture, which I did. I was shocked to get a response back that they were issuing a full refund and told me to keep the product! What.....who does that! Anyway, even though the color did not work for me, I'm giving them five stars because it is a beautiful piece of well made furniture and the manufacture obviously stands by their product. I plan to use the refunded money to get it sanded down and re-painted a color that matches. Thank you Harper and Park for a great product!

Yes yes yes! I almost didn’t buy this because a reviewer said it was too short for a queen bed , but it’s perfect! This is solid very nice piece of furniture it looks perfect for my 3 year olds big girl bed. The look and quality of this is amazing and it’s a great price usually you don’t get both but with this Head board you do!

Easy to put together. Looks very nice and solid. One problem was that when we tried to attach it to the Zinus bedframe the screws were not long enough to go through both the headboard and the bedframe. The length of the screw is only 1.75”. I called the company as there was a phone number on the instruction page. They said they would immediately send out the correct screws. They sent THE SAME screws. It was nice of them to send screws, but you need to buy screws that are at least 3” long to go through both the headboard and the bedframe. Took off 1 Star.

This is solidly built from real wood (very hard to find furniture made of wood these days). It is strong enough to prop up an adult leaning back on a pillow. The bottom of the headboard is even with the top of a tall mattress and several inches above the edge of a standard mattress. With my tall mattress the pillow manages to work its way through the slot and end up falling through. If the bottom edge of the headboard were another 6" lower, it would make much better sense. As for me, I will buy a board and some hardware and make an extension.

Headboard was perfect in style & price. Incredibly easy to put together - 5 minutes. Drilled extra holes in the headboard’s legs to attach to the bed frame in order to make it extra sturdy for a toddler (would not need to do so for an adult). Just disappointed that it is not a true white. It’s a muted white with a gray-tone. As long as it’s placed on the opposite wall of the white dresser it’s fine.

Issue 1: The box that was delivered looked fine but upon opening the package, the headboard was already dented in areas. We decided to assemble it anyway since it would be more of a hassle to send back.Issue 2: There were screws to attach the headboard to the bedframe but no instructions.Issue 3: We tried to line up the headboard to attach it to the bedframe but the cutout did not line up with the cutouts on a standard twin bedframe. Therefore, we could not use the screws to attach the two pieces.Issue 4: Had the cutouts matched, the screws would have been too short to fit through both the headboard and bedframe.Issue 5: According to the picture, it looks like there are additional pieces that attach to the bottom of the legs, possibly to help fit different bedframes. Those pieces were not included in the box we received but may have helped us attach the headboard to the frame (...who knows).I never write reviews for products but there were too many problems to ignore. I would not recommend this product.

I ordered this head board for my bedroom.. I have antique white furniture. When I saw this item it looked simple and white,The best part was the finish-white with with the same coating as the rest of my furniture.When I opened the box I was delighted to find that it was a perfect match!Now my bedroom is complete. I can read my kindle without touching the wall.Thank you for the good description and my perfect headboard.

We are happy with this purchase. Easy assembly, sturdy headboard. Looks good.
