One pack was ZERO volts, dead. Had to resuscitate cells...

I ordered two packs for a total of eight batteries. While the product description states precharged, I tested them anyways...Pack #1 = 1.2 voltsPack #2 = 0.0 voltsSo the dead pack of rechargeable batteries would present a problem for the layperson if they used a smart charger. The problem is that most smart chargers need to see a minimum voltage from the cells in order to detect them.In order to resuscitate a dead cell from 0V condition is one of three ways:• connect dead cell to a good cell/battery in parallel for a few seconds, temporarily bringing the dead cell’s voltage to about 1.0V• connect dead cell to an older “dumb” NiCd charger. Let it charge for a few minutes and checking voltage frequently until cell reaches 1.0V• connect dead cell in parallel to a low voltage DC power supply - only for a few seconds! Again, cell voltage should rise to about 1.0VIf temporary voltage from resuscitation process is greater than 1.5V, let the cell voltage drop naturally or present a load until it drops closer to 1.0V.The temporary voltage will quickly drop - so transfer your resuscitated cell to your smart charger. If your smart charger has a discharge feature, use it after a few minutes of normal charging to eliminate any excess temporary voltage from the resuscitation process. Then allow the smart charger to charge the cells normally. That’s basically what I had to do to fix the dead pack of batteries. I actually do this process often because most of my devices will drain my rechargables until one cell in the pack is completely dead. So I often need to revive one dead cell in order to charge it again.I don’t expect any problems with these brand of rechargeable AAA’s. Just thought I should share my experience with the dead pack - and how to fix any dead cells you might receive instead of returning them!

Really ~800 mAh. Not 1200 as stated

Got 16 of these batteries and tested them in my Opus BT-C3100 battery analyzer using the discharge/charge mode. They average around 800 mAh each and not 1200 as advertised. Considering that with the price paid for these, I still think you're getting your money's worth though

High failure rate right out of thw box, poor customer service

Out of 16 purchased, 6 have failed...4 right out of the box. Will not accept a charge, digital or analog. Contacted customer service twice, finally got a super unhelpful "Sorry we have not replied, we were on vacation." No offer of replacement or refund. Stay way from this brand.

Get These! WAIT.....I meant DON'T Get These......UPDATE

Fantastic rechargeble batteries.....I've bought five sets so far! I'm a photographer and all of my gear is battery powered. These charge fast and are dependable. I'm sticking with them.UPDATE June 28, 2016: I originally gave five stars but I'm being nice and am dropping down to two stars rather than one star. I was totally wrong with my original review. I have actually used these very sparingly and was going to recharge six of the. Out of that six, all were dead, three of them eventually charged and three are DOA. At a 50% failure rate I'm out, and I bought 24 of these.

Not really pre-charged

I can only comment at this time on the pre-charging. I put the batteries in my intelligent charger and they all registered as being less than 1/3 charged. Two of the batteries were so discharged that they didn't initially register as being in the charger. I swapped them with other batteries in the charger to make sure that it wasn't a problem with the charger. Now they are all charged. Two are in a device and the rest are waiting their turn.

AAA batteries that last a little longer than the rest!

These PowerDriver rechargeable AAA batteries are a great value. They last longer than most other rechargeable AAAs and are some of the cheapest out there. I use them for noise cancelling headphones and some presentation clickers that get used a lot. I charge them with this:  Titanium Smart Fast 16 Bay Ni-MH AA/AAA Battery Charger AC 100-240V + DC Adapters MD-1600L  and have not had an issue in the 50-60 times I've charged them so far.I would recommend these rechargeable AAAs. They are a great value for what you get.

Lose charge quickly.

The battery diameter is too wide to fit in my flashlights and other equipment. They will fit in my Nikon sb800 flash. They deliver a strong charge. The problem is you can charge them and 2 or 3 weeks later go to use them and they will have lost most of their charge. So do not count on them for emergency use or longer trips. I will not buy them again.

Long lasting, easy to recharge.

These batteries are very easy to recharge and have lasted longer than other rechargeable ones. I would recommend for solar lights, that's what I use them for. I have outside decorative solar lights.
