I needed it because I got a completely new and different style shower. The old one was a tub/shower combo. So, now I have nothing to lean on, sit on, or put my foot up on. You ladies know these things are necessary for shaving legs, cleaning feet, and other similar needs.This bench is great and fits those needs- it’s wood, so it doesn’t look like an old ladies’ seat (I’m 30 myself). It has rubber thingys on the feet, and it’s just nice and sturdy. Got a close up of how the bottom is screwed together. Quite well made- and assembly is a breeze, like reeeeally easy. This is a great little bench!! It was easy to assemble and has held up very well in my shower for the last 5 months or so. I bought a “teak” bench from one of the big box stores that couldn’t hold a candle to this little guy and they were promptly returned. This bench gets wet twice a day and has shown no sign of wear or tear. It’s small but that’s exactly what I expected and it looks really nice in the space. One of my best amazon purchases given the price, quality and durability, highly recommend.

This is very sturdy construction bamboo stool. The installation is so easy I finish within five minutes with out looking at the instructions. For those of you who need some guidance the instructions are so easy to follow and the items we’ll labeled that an eight year old could definitely put this item together. The finish product is very sturdy. It comes with a clear coating to seal the wood. Two things I would to it are:1 Suggest to drill small holes for nailing the shelf and give the stool ever a longer live and increase the strength.2 lightly sand the clear coat to have a superb finish but for the price I cando that or simply live it alone.

Broke my ankle and needed a shower stool that didn't look like it came from the Industrial Medical Supply Store for Institutions. It looks very spa-like, and is really sturdy when assembled correctly. Two long and meaty screws secure each leg. It has a thick laquer coating that I think will resist water, and it has rubber leg-bottoms and doesn't slip in the shower. BUT, the shelf slots into the legs are not very secure. I ended up gluing them in and using a nail gun to make it permanent. I took away one star for that. When my ankle is healed, we will take it outside and use it as a small stand next to our pool furniture.FEB 2022 UPDATE: Noticed some blackening around underside of joints. Mildew. While I still like this stool, I would not leave it wet in the shower continuously or mildew will eventually creep in. Let it completely dry every now and then, and spray it with anti-mildew spray. It’ll do fine.

I've had this for about a month. It's in my shower - because I'm old and leg shaving can be akin to the movie Gladiator if I'm not sitting. Sorry for the overshare. Very easy to assemble. I can plant my keister on it with no concerns of it collapsing - doesn't sway or move. I'm completely pleased. Prolonged sitting is ill-advised, as it is made out of wood, there are slats, and gravity is real despite what you may have heard. Just use common sense for length of sitting. *Do keep in mind the dimensions. It looks big in the photos (perhaps they used teensy products for the photo shoot). Measure it out because it may be a bit smaller than the photos seem to indicate.

This works very well in my shower. It’s small enough for cramped spaces. Are use it for showering because I have a bad back. Because of the slats it’s only a tiny bit uncomfortable at first to sit on but once you find a good position for yourself you’ll be fine. I’ve only used it a couple times but it seems to Be holding up pretty well in the water and it looks great.

So. Because the legs were incorrectly cut, I called Amazon Customer Service. I wanted two (2) new, correctly legs sent to me. Amazon told me, and it's on Amazon's website, that if you need support of any kind to call the manufacturer.Called the the company Customer support. The companies support. They informed me that because of Amazon's rules, Amazon had to take care of the problem. I got the name of the person at the Company.I contacted Amazon, again and gave Amazon's Customer service to let them know I had received conflicting information between Amazon and t h e manufacturer. It became a he said / she said it situation. The bench remains wobbly and the situation has not been resolved.My advice is. If you get a bench with uneven or miss cut legs, send it back.

This bench came with a tool to assemble. It assembled very quickly. Looks good in the bathroom. The lower shelf will hold bottles roughly the size of a bottle of liquid hand soap. It isn't tall enough to hold a shampoo bottle. Fits well in the bathtub. ( I clean it with liquid soap and water so no clue about damaging the finish with any other cleaners.) It is slightly wobbly but it is placed in a bathtub and they are not completely flat. It isn't used frequently so I can't comment on mildew as it dries out between uses. Overall I am pleased with this bench. It may be repurposed to a guest bedroom once it is no longer needed in the bathroom.

Assembly was straight-forward, easy and quick. Works well as a shower bench.

All of the wooden bases were measures wrong and were not possible to install. $70+ of garbage. Avoid.
