Mine is broken in half. Can i eliminate it?** A: leaving a broken board in place is better than removing it completely. Without it the stove will not burn as efficiently, meaning you won't get as much heat out of it, and you'll be releasing more pollutants into the air. **Q: Will this work for the us stove 2000 models?** A: Any stove can and should be insulated on both sides with the Lynn insulation-board products. I worry about the side which is next to the sink cabinet, but that is now covered. **Q: What do you use to trim it a little??** A: Depending on the amount you need to trim off - you can sand it, or use a hacksaw blade.
