The Dumb Bunnies (Scholastic Bookshelf) Paperback – Picture Book, February 1, 2005

This book was a big hit with my grandson who is 8. He really laughed and read it several times. When my children were his age, we read books about the "Stupids". They did things like take baths with no water in the tub and were so proud when their children failed all their subjects. My kids and I thought they were hysterically funny. Of course using the word "stupid" is no longer politically correct. Now that's just stupid! Anyway this book is the same family with the same kind of issues. It's just called dumb instead of stupid. It's very funny and the drawings are great too.

Hilarious. My husband was crying laughing while reading this to our kids. It’s been reread many times and has inspired some funny stories by my kids who are into making their own books. We love Dav Pilkey in this house.

This book is very silly. It made my son and I laugh. A lot of the humor is obvious, but some of the humor is more subtle, so I think this book is good for a broader range of ages, such as 4 to 8, depending on the child. A child could read this several times before discovering all the jokes and holiday related anachronisms and absurdities. I got this for my son for Easter, but it would work for any holiday or just because!

My grand kids really liked this silly story. It may not have been PC calling them "Dumb" but it was funny and silly so we will let it go.

The first time my 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son read this book at the library, we (all) belly-laughed so hard that we were disturbing other library patrons. My daughter reads this book to all of her friends who come over because she thinks it's hilarious. The text is easy enough for a beginning reader and the pictures are colorful and cute. This would be a great book for a child who isn't interested in most books -- this one isn't like most books!

One of my absolute favorites from when I was a kid. So glad I can pass this down to my kids. I see they have made sequels and I cannot wait to purchase those. We love the silly take on the fairy tales.

My 7ys old is obsessed with all things Dav Pilkey, and this book did not disappoint. Well made, silly pics, and a funny story.

Love all Dav Pilkey’s books. This one is very funny. Bought it for a 5 year old. He read it easily and it’s not very long but we all enjoy re-reading it

This is a very nice book. It is very funny, I bought it for my child and she loves it so much. I recommend this for young readers.

I have to get my car done today I have a few minutes of it to work and I’m not home I have no problem getting my car done and I have a few minutes of it so u will come home to come pick you out for me so I’ll come over later if u wants it come home I need you and I’ll pick you up from school on Monday so I’ll call and pick it and then I have the money in your mailbox so you don’t have to do anything with it you need me I can talk it up when I’m home or 💩

You're not reading a book on science so don't expect anything other than child hood silliness which is just what the Dr ordered. Kids giggle themselves to sleep after reading this
