It worked for my 4 month old
I love this so much. It’s soft, warm but not too warm, but best of all it helped my 4 month old transition from being swaddled. I tried everything from the leave one arm out method to just stopping all together and nothing worked. The first night it took a little getting used to but he slept all night no jerking awake. The double zippers make diaper changes easy peezy. The only complaint I have isn’t necessarily a product problem per se. My son is long and slim so I had to go up a size to fit his length but it’s a bit bigger than I think it’s supposed to be in the middle and shoulders area but it does the job.

We love this!
We wanted something to transition our baby that wasn’t weighted after using the arms up swaddle and this was perfect! Our little one loves it and sleeps long during the night now. He likes having the option to move his arms up or down (he is 3 months).

Perfect swaddle transition - bought 2 more!
Transitioning out of the swaddle was tough, and the Merlin suit seemed too constricting to me. This is the perfect compromise! Thick, soft, cozy material; the sleeves buffer the startle reflex but she can still move easily; the 2 way zip is great for diaper changes. After a week with this one I bought one for daycare and a spare for home. I have the small and she’s 6 months now, but very small for her age

helpful
It is good and helpful! I have been looking for a sleeping bag with sleeve for my 5-month-old baby. It works and keeps her warm through night .

Great product! Halo sizing is always off though.
Halo makes a quality product. A halo sleep sack can go through like 4 kids and hold up well unlike other wearable blankets. We used this to transition out of the merlin suit at 5 months. I was very worried, but the transition was seamless. Actually for the past week since we have been using this my daughter has slept 12 hours straight which has been amazing not to get up in the middle of the night. I’m not sure if that’s a coincidence because of her age or what, but I’ll take it! This sleep sack is very soft material, it has just a tiny bit of stiffness to it, just enough to feel snuggled, but a rolling baby would be very safe too. I gave this 4 stars because I can’t stand halo sizing guidelines. They always have the weight higher than average and the height lower than average. So short chunks would do well in this, but my daughter does not fit in this category. My plan is to sew an extension on the bottom since sizing up would be too big it would be hazardous. For 37 dollars I shouldn’t have to modify it though, they could easily make the length longer and still have a safe wearable blanket.Update:I bumped up a star to 5. I tried buying something similar from another brand, but it was not nearly as nice, so I had to spend the money on this again. I wish they made this in bigger sizes the tog and 3/4 sleeves are perfect for all seasons you just have to adjust what the baby’s pjs.

SAVED MY SANITY IN 4M SLEEP REGRESSION
I hope this works as well for others as it did for our sons four month regression! It is a little thicker then his other sleep sacks and he runs hot so I do leave his ceiling fan on low to help him from getting to warm at night. He went from waking up every one to three hours to once or sleeping through the night!

Great transition
My son started rolling onto his tummy at night in his swaddle, so I had to drop it. He still had a stronger startle reflex so I tried this suit. For the first week or so, he couldn’t figure out how to roll on his tummy in the suit - WIN! Once he figured out how to roll onto his tummy I tried a plain sleep sack, which showed me just how much this Halo suit actually helped to dampen the startle reflex. He slept much better with it on, so I have reverted back to the Halo suit.

Great transition swaddle blanket
Our daughter was getting out of her halo sleep sack and we needed to transition to something different, something to keep her warm and secure. This is great. I love the quiltness to it and the thickness. She is able to move around in this sleep sack without making me worry she won't be able to use her arms to roll herself back over to her back.
